I used to love living here 13 years ago but it is not the same. I used feel like Alison apartments was my home. It doesn’t feel like home anymore. I don’t have a washer and dryer in my apartment. I tried to go to one of the laundry rooms but they take a card that you have to put in the machine. The card doesn’t work. I have tried many times and so has my husband. We take our clothes to a laundromat every week. This is very inconvenient. Some of apartments have washers and dryers. The laundry company is very poorly rated. It’s so inconvenient for the residents.
We have reported to maintenance that our toilet is clogging up almost every night. The maintenance man came out and used a snake on the toilet and said that my husband’s stool is hard and that’s why the toilet won’t flush. After he works on the toilet, the toilet is still getting clogged and my husband has to plunge the toilet for 45 minutes most nights.
For $1550 dollars a month, this apartment doesn’t have any conveniences at all. There’s no washer, dryer, dishwasher or sink sprayer.
For that matter, the toilet doesn’t work properly. The kitchen is not nice at all. The cabinet are very cheap and the cabinet veneer is wearing off and the kitchen floor is coming apart. I keep this place clean but it doesn’t looks good. I used have pride in my home. I now I don’t.

The Davis Enterprise company is highly unprofessional. I had some complaints because I felt as though the Community Director was unprofessional. I was inquiring about leasing an apartment at one of their newest properties, The Neil in Mount Laurel, NJ. The Community Director Tiffany Capurso did forward me the application over and responded to me via email answering one of the questions I had but after that she never responded to me again. I gave it a few days and emailed her again, I still received no response. I decided to call the number listed for the property, I realized it is Tiffany that handles the phone calls, I proceed to ask her my questions and then suddenly the phone goes blank. I called her back several times and she did not answer. I had my sister call her from a different number and she answered so it wasn’t until I began to call Tiffany from a blocked number I would get through to her for some reason. Certain questions I needed answers to she could not give me definite answers to. Fast forwarding I was told personally by Tiffany face to face that my boyfriend and I would be contacted regardless if we were selected or not for an apartment by the next week. That never happened, I had to constantly stay on top of what should have been handled by the Community Director of the unopened property. She also told me that we were number 32 on the list, two weeks later as I contacted her again I was told we were number 59. I do not understand how our number was almost doubled. I was very frustrated because of the unprofessionalism so I reached out to the Davis Enterprises company itself expressing my frustrations I felt. August 31, 2020 at about 1:00 o’clock pm I received a phone call back from someone in reference to the message I left for them. Immediately she was very rude and nasty, you could tell she did not feel like interacting with me at all and did not introduce herself. As I explained everything to her she proceeded to let me know that I was the one wrong, nothing was handled unprofessional in her eyes although she told me because we didn’t apply for the apartment in my name that Tiffany shouldn’t have even been speaking to me. I would consider that very unprofessional because that goes to show no one in the company is on the same page because Tiffany never expressed to me she shouldn’t be talking to me the times she did reply to me. Later finding out that this is the Executive Vice President I am speaking with she continued to be extremely rude and tried to talk over me and was of no help at all. She made sure that she made it clear that I was the one in the wrong the entire time. As the conversation came to an end I asked her for her name, she said that she already gave me her name, she said she did not have to give it to me nor did she want to. She asked me again what could she help me with, I stated that she could help me with giving me her first and last name, she proceed to say her name was “Ann” I asked for her last name, again she would not give it to me, in the middle of me speaking she then hung up on me. I immediately called back and my called was rejected, I called back again and someone else answered the phone, she seemed to be lost about who the person was that I spoke with because she said everyone else was at lunch. When speaking to her I told her the name I was given which was “Ann” and the title, she asked for my name and a call back number, she said she would get back to me. I never heard anything back from her, the fact that the Executive Vice President, LuAnne Siwiec would speak to someone inquiring about an apartment that they represent and work for, also essentially responsible for is disgusting. The customer service was beyond unprofessional. I would never consider leasing with them again.

I have called several times over the last month to get my air conditioning turned on and I have been told that "we haven't turned them on yet". I am fine and understanding of this.

Today though, it was 90 degrees and my thermostat read 81. They changed my air filter less than a week ago which would make you think they turned it on, or were about to, but of course I am still having issues.

Before going to work I called maintenance and they told me they would let the crew know when they got in. I arrived home 13 hours later with the same humid heat in my apartment and a note that said "fix the smell in your apartment and then I will fix the AC".

Now I am livid. The only reason my place would smell is due to the humid, stale heat being circulated through the broken air conditioner that I leave on ,hoping it circulates and cools my place by a degree or two. i don't care if my place smells like a garbage dump, when I have been calling for two months about this, you better put on a gas mask and get it fixed.

My place does not smell and anyone who is part of Davis is more than welcome to stop by and let me know what is the horrible conditions that this maintenance guy could not do his job in.
