Run, do not walk away from this place. The fact that they go under two business names and i'm having to leave this review twice should say something. If you want a property management company where things are done in a timely manner, customer service is pleasant and things are repaired correctly, then this place isn't for you. I was not given a move in check list, and was not allowed to be present for an exit walk-through. It took them 39 days to return my security deposit, and it was originally sent to the incorrect address. You have been warned.

This company purchased a home I was renting I was unaware of any auction they sent a sheriff and gave me 5 days to vacate the premises. After lying to me saying we could work out a new lease all I got was the run around. Their lawyer was rude and they lied in court. I had video surveillance equipment installed and they broke it along with other items. I had to leave in those five days and did so. The lawyer basically told me she didn't have to offer me any type of curteousy whatsoever even after making an agreement in front of the judge to allow me back in to collect my things. I understand business is business but the way I was treated I would much rather purchase my own home than deal with companies such as this I lost everything behind this company my place to stay w/kids, my beloved pets, and had to relocate two of my disabled family members. Terrible experience. I value a person's word until they show me you can't.... The CEO of this place only gave me the run around and even more lies to boot. I'm not surprised I got bullied into homelessness by these people and they could care less it's all about money... I paid my way rent was paid when I left the place... Just sad that you have businesses out here who would see an empty house than rent it to current tenants SMH. If you still choose to deal with this company because they have great manners when dealing with you, they just are not honest with anything they do... Keep your paperwork in check. Get things in writing from them. And don't just sit around and wait for a response from them you may never get it's

If the property was the destroyed by us please send us the receipts that I have kindly asked for. I yet to receive a call back from me leaving y'all a message. Every company I have rented with always called us to do the final walk-through when moving out. Your company expect us to believe we cause critical damages without us being there. No company ever said we left a house damaged or in any bad condition. It is a reason your company have a low rating and it's not because of Tennant's. Please send us pictures of our so called damages that we left at your property. Also we would like to see REAL receipts of what y'all had to pay for that y'all don't suppose to do. Example fresh paint and carpet is expected to be done for new Tennant's for their move in. Previous Tennant's don't pay for that. Just like the new company I'm with provided new carpet and freshly painted the house.

Very unprofessional and rude! Contact this company inquiring about a rental and the gentleman Monte or whomever handles leasing was very short and unprofessional. Called back to try and speak with someone else spoke to Matt he was also rude and unprofessional! This is unacceptable for a place of business. Especially if a potential client is calling in and asking questions about a property, why be rude? That's the nature of the business! I wasn't rude or anything just trying to get some information! I was also recommended by a colleague of mine but I was really misinformed because their level of service is unacceptable!

Really wish it was NO STARS...DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY... THEY EVEN HAD TO CHANGE THEIR COMPANY NAME Me and my family stayed here for 3 years. Everytime we put in a maintenance request it did not get done. They always said they would come back but never did. We just recently moved out and now they are trying to charge me for what they suppose to have done. They decided to come up with a number and did not show any receipts on what actually got done. If this don't change I will be taking them to court and show all my emails and pictures of the leaks after only living there for 1month.

Wow! The way Sean answered the call was VERY unprofessional. He acted as if he didn’t know why I was calling. Barely even let me get words out of my mouth. I was trying to inquire about home availability. Sean began to fuse. Just horrible HORRIBLE! Smh I couldn’t believe it to the point I asked if I was calling the correct company. I don’t know if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, but he needs to go back to sleep. He’s giving Charlotte Investment Homes a bad name.

I am currently a renter. They are very prompt with the repairs that are requested and very open with any reasons a repair cannot be done. Amanda is a sweetheart. The owner is very assertive but he listens and tries to get all issues resolved with the owner. The maintenance crew is awesome and try to fix everything they can during their visit.
