Planning our first visit to Flemington, I spotted this place on Google Maps. After reviewing the menu, my wife and I knew we had to give it a trip. So glad we did. The food and coffee were great for our breakfast, so we went back the next morning. They open at 9:00, so it's best to go early before they run out of their fresh made items. The line starts before they open!

Bread & Culture is an amazing local Flemington establishment that has out-of-this-world amazing sourdough bread (many varieties), pastries and breakfast goodies. We love this place!! It’s so quaint and lovely inside, and the porch seating is wonderful for experiencing the local flavor. The service is fantastic, with the people behind the counter always super friendly. Definitely recommend without a doubt!

I recently discovered this place and glad I did. Everything here is delicious and the service is exceptional. Even when the lines are long, they do a great job getting everyone served quickly. I always get the Cinnamon roll and take a loaf of the country bread home. If you’re looking for an opportunity to experience the value of why to use sourdough when baking, this is the place to come to. By far, my favorite local bakery!

Pizza was pretty good and the crust was nice too. The Cuban sandwich had really good potential to be better, but the mustard was a bit spicy and kind of ruined the taste. Also waited like 20 minutes for them to heat up our food.

Absolutely phenomenal sourdough croissants! The almond has a nice amount of filling since it's cut open and filled, I wish more croissants were filled that way instead of the center stripe. We purchased a variety to take home and I'll update with more details once they've been tried.

We came on the Friday after a Thursday holiday and the line wasn't too bad around 10am, just to the inside door, and they still had plenty of selections available. We'll definitely be back to try other delicacies.

Killer pastries! It makes sense why the lines are soooo long on the weekends. They need an operational consultant to help them with flow so they can get people their delicious baked goods faster. They could easily serve 2x the amount of people based on how popular they are. Be warned. Long lines on weekends almost always. Prepare to wait awhile. And once you do order, it takes quite a bit of time to get what you ordered (even if it is just a croissant and a drip coffee) huge selection of delicious and unique treats.

The pastries looked gorgeous but were horribly deceptive. They look nice but taste wise the texture was stale and chewy.

But I LOVED batard loaf. One of the best I’ve ever had. I’ll 100% come back for the batard or the olive and herb! Bummer about the pastries’s quality, but the bread alone is worth a visit.

Eating professionally for a living, I can proudly say frequenting this Baker every weekend is a true joy of mine, trying the weekly sweet & savory pastrie, this has literally become a hobby!

They have a variety of fresh baked breads, but What I look most forward to is the croissant of the week. This week I truly enjoyed the chorizo and egg croissant, like nothing I’ve ever tried. It was truly delicious and that is an understatement! Flaky light and delicious packed with spicy chorizo, and kale saturated in some kind of heavenly sauce! Just wow I even ate it cold in my car , that good!

I also must mention the cinnamon rolls, an item that is a permanent staple to the menu, the sourdough does not make you feel like you’re going to be sick after. And I’ve never had a cinnamon roll like this where the icing is so thick. It’s perfect for every bite and before you leave, you must get a coffee my favorite is the malted salted oat latte. Thurs - sun see yall there !
