I have always worked with Barry Goldman as my realtor and I have nothing negative to report in fact I am very happy using this century 21preferred Realty located at morris ave ,union, nj.I have been using century 21 to rent my properties , I have sold properties and also as acquired properties as a buyer a few times and have never encountered any negative issues.i highly recommend this agency and special the realtor that I have been using since 2019.Barry Goldman is fantastic and I highly recommend him I have not had used other realtors yet.

10-2-24 - *This review is ABSOLUTELY related to CENTURY 21 PREFERRED REALTY in UNION, NJ and solely reflects my opinions on interactions with an agent who works there when reaching out regarding a unit. I was a previous customer who interacted with Jennifer Da Silva after seeing she was on the listing for a unit on Zillow and had her Century 21 Preferred Realty signage and information posted and thus was available public knowledge that one was interacting with a representative of that company. I felt Jenner da silva was belligerent and had no regard for those with disabilities after I asked for a call. All in all, I had a very different experience. Every sane person would agree, that it is important to acknowledge that not everyone's interactions can be the same.

Original Review--Recently interacted with a lady Jennifer Da-Silva, and my thoughts are she was extremely unprofessional and callous and should not interact with the general public.

My mother recently passed away and it was a very emotional time for me and I had the added stress of having to sell her Maplewood home. When it was time for me to put the house on the market Century 21 was the first that came to my mind. I had the pleasure of working with Juila Rodriguez who was very professional, understanding,friendly and hard working. She knows the industry very well. I brought a home but never sold a home and she helped me understand the process, which was very trying at times. I highly recommend using Century 21 and if possible Julia As your representative.

I am so unhappy with selling my property with Century 21 Preferred Realty In Union NJ and have worked with Marina as a realtor. She failed to mention that she was a dual agent handling all communication between both parties (Buyer and Seller). After having my suspicions and realized she was a dual agent it was on the day of closing my house. So it was too late to withdraw. She was very biased representing the ideas of only the buyer. Marina told me that my house was worth $100.00 less just because I refused to do repairs requested by the buyer. Marina was only negotiating terms on behalf of the buyer only. I was left alone, fighting to sell my house for a decent price. She lied to us on many occasions. Some other realtor could have sold my house for the right price if I had a realtor who I could trust to negotiate terms. I was forced at the end to do repairs after placing in writing due to manipulation.
Replying to your post. This company are a bunch of thieves. I had to fight to sell my property at a decent price by myself. The agent Marina kept pushing to give away my furniture to the buyers for free and to make changes of the property after putting in writing several times that the property was to be sold as is. Your “so called” stellar agent called Marina was sending pictures of other houses to me under $300.000 so I can accept an under value price offer below $450.000. I had to argue with her every single day. She never once did any work, she put a lock in front of the doors for potential buyers to come view the property and was never on sight during all the visits. I don’t know where you got all the numbers you stated especially that $467.000, all these are false statements. I would advise anyone you potentially want to sell their homes to stay far away from this company especially that agent Marina, she is a snake.

Both Frank Jr & Sr DeBari are fantastic people to work with. They understand the buyer & seller equally and work to make a fair deal, true honest real estate agents. On top of that, the “customer service” is top notch. Never was I waiting for a reply or needed to follow up. Responses were timely and thoughtful. I can not recommend these two enough. The initial consultation and work was fine. However, the failure of the Realtor/Broker D. Rivera to clearly advise that there was dual representation and that their were conflicting/competing interests nearly led to litigation. I truly felt as if the Realtor/Broker failed to be fair or fairly represent my interests. This was compounded by the failure to have clear communication with all involved. That is not a good sign when you are dealing with what is usually the largest transaction in a person's life.

Jennifer Da Silva was our agent. She was one of the most diligent and hardworking agents I have ever worked with. She simplified the process, all while answering texts and emails all time of the day and night. She was never frustrated with the constant barrage of repetitive questions.
