3 main questions I ask myself when rating a contractor:
1) Did they finish the job? Yes they did.
2) Did they do the job well? Well they put the addition on the house. The rest of what was done (patching drywall, installing frames and trims, doors) was completed with a lots of ups and downs and redos. The exterior looks wonderful because of the siding guys not CHS. We were left for four weeks with a leak in between roofs because waterproofing had not been immediately done after addition was put in place, and duct tape and plastic sheeting is not enough against heavy rain.
3) Would I hire them again? No. I’m done. If you want to drive yourself against the wall with phone calls, follow ups and a slew of pictures then go for it. Christian is very nice. Yeah that’s all I can really say. Lol

Christian and his team at MCS follow through on work as described, even when faced with complications outside of their control. We had several unexpected issues pop up, and the way the team resolved them made me realize how important it is to use an experienced contractor. Quality workmanship throughout and final project turned out beautiful. Have had a great experience working with them.

My husband and I just had a second story addition and first level room renovation completed by MCS and are thrilled with the results. Our project wasn't a candidate for modular, so we opted to tough out the process for stick built. It was a pleasure working with Christian Tirone and his team. High marks across the board for responsiveness and quality of work. We did have some rain delays, which were outside of everyone's control, but always made up time when circumstances allowed. The end result is beautiful and we recommend MCS wholeheartedly.

I'm really surprised at the other review on this site (looks like one bad perspective, and 2 of their friends).

Our experience with MCS was stellar. I've used them for a large and a small project, and I've since recommended them to a few friends and colleagues - 2 of them went through with projects and had similar, positive experiences.

The modular addition was a great approach and Christian was a highly responsive contractor. We added nearly 1000 square feet to our house, and only had to spend a weekend at a friend's house, saving us a TON of money (if our addition would have been built onsite, we'd have had to rent an apartment for a longer stretch).

We tried a number of contractors and really were met with very sketchy folks, scarce referrals, and questionable estimates - and that's if they got back to us at all.

Christian called us back EVERY time, was straightforward with what costs would be, was spot-on with our estimate, and though time ran a bit longer than promised, there were hiccups in the process on our end and on theirs - and really, with any large project, you have to expect that. Throughout MCS was honest and transparent about it all, which we really appreciated.

We love our addition, and MCS still checks in with us after over a year to see how things are going. In looking at the other review, I'm left wondering if they were realistic about all that goes into a big addition. With any large project, you have to have some expectation of complications

If you are looking for someone who will be responsive, honest, and not disappear in the middle of a project (I've heard nightmare stories about other contractors) and really diligent in following up, MCS is all that and more. I can't say enough about how happy we are with their work.

This builder take advantage of elderly people. My neighbor entrusted building her modular home of which arrived on April 11th, 2017 and she is still not in her home. Each time she calls to get some work done she gets the run around. He gets unprofessional workers that don't know what they are doing then expects her to be satisfied. It is now September 21st and she still waits for her home to be completed. But he is quick to pick up a check or bind her into a contract. He should be ashamed of himself.

Where to begin... I Never met someone who worked for a construction company that didnt know anything about construction. It took my house over a year to be finished and it didnt even pass inspection. I dont get how someone can live their lives knowing that someones house is supposed to be done but its not because of pure laziness. CHRISTIAN ( the owner of the company) should be put in jail for this type of work and im not the only person who agrees. Also cursed at my grandparents for no reason.

absolute joke. if you want your house to take 5 years to build then hire this company. Rude, unprofessional, and unexperienced. Christian acts like he knows what he is doing but he doesnt. Hes rude to old people. How can you hire someone who does not respect your grandma? Do yourselves a favor and dont hire this company.

Christian and his company are both knowledgeable and professional. The houses turn out amazing because of his attention to detail. He's also great to deal with because of expertise and communication.
