I've been trying since January to get into contact with someone who can help schedule a tour for an apartment. Every time I try calling or emailing for a listing, I get sent to voicemail and I never get a real email reply back (just an automated one). I finally get an email reply telling me that the listing is no longer available, and to check back on their website for updates. However, the listing was still listed as available on both their website and other property websites for the next 2 weeks. I understand these listings are in high demand, but this is just ridiculous.

If you are looking for a place, I highly recommend the Grandview Garden Apartments. We are living here for over 7 years and love it here! The grounds are quiet and impeccably manicured. The resident's are friendly and respectful and the apartments are spacious and the environment is very nature oriented and beautiful. Everyone on the staff is lovely. Super Eduart is the best of them all! He is always ready with a friendly smile & handles all issues quickly and professionally. And by quickly I mean really quickly. I had an issue with one of the faucet couple of days ago and I texted him at night to let him know and he was there the next day with everything, and installed a new one right away. I’m also adding some beautiful pictures that I’ve taken over the past years.

I feel compelled to share my experience with this property management company. While I initially rented my unit through a different management company, this firm took over the property approximately four years later. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing in several key areas:

Communication: In case of an emergency, it is difficult to reach them. Our furniture was damaged because of the old heating system water. For any other maintenance issue, they contacted me after multiple online requests and many calls. They did not arrive on the promised day.

Deposit Handling: Prospective tenants should be aware of potential challenges regarding security deposit returns. Do not waste your time or money. Do not expect your deposit back. They did not keep the promises made by management.

Follow-through: When they took over the complex management, they said the onsite staff would remain the same, but they changed the onsite personnel, including the complex manager, to people who were rude. Even with email proof, they did not keep the promises made by the previous management to existing tenants. Any other option would be better than Goldberg. Save your time and money.

Grandview Gardens Apartments Hasbrouck Heights. Very Clean and taking care of. This was my first time moving out of my childhood home and living on my own. Ed the building superintendent is wonderful he made my move very comfortable. He lives on site and very quick to respond and help with your needs. Ed is very helpful and is great at fixing or replacing whatever you need. He is very friendly and will tell you straight forward about what you need to know. When it snows he makes sure he’s out there salting and snow blowing the sidewalks he also makes sure the premises are clean and well taking care of.
