Literally a horrible experience securing an apartment. I felt rushed to pay a deposit when I did, literally two days later I decided I could not move in and they would not give my deposit back and wanted to charge me two months rent !!!! Two days after pulling out. No accommodations. DO NOT rush and pay a deposit. Don’t feel rushed when doing a tour! Until you are 1000000 percent sure ! will not be renewing a lease here! Absolutely do not recommend.

Let me start by saying the apartments are beautiful and the utilities are included, maintenance was very responsive, but the poor management of this building is the issue. I lived in the building for 3 years and there were 4 managers. There was always a problem with hot water. The water is normally luke warm at best or the water was being turned off for repairs to the boilers. The fire alarm was constantly going off to the point that I no longer left my apartment due to so many false alarms. Every time it rains it leaks on every floor by the elevators. Repairs were done to the parking lot for the 2nd time with only hours’ notice. We were told to park in the church parking lot next door. Due to the short notice the tenants were forced to park anyplace, blocking everyone in the parking lot for 2 days. Management is so concerned about making money they don’t confront tenants that are misbehaving. My apartment constantly smelled of weed, in the summer time couples would get drunk and fight in the parking lot. tenants would use the lounge area as their own personal bedroom and would be sleeping on the couch with blankets and no shoes on. They charge a lot for gated parking but if it was going to snow they would leave the gates open for several days at a time. They charge too much rent to have these basic issues. The manager Tamer seems like he was trying to change the building but for some of the older tenants it was too late.

This is a building that is so severely neglected and yet they are still leasing apartments. They have and still are violating every code within the state and the municipality of East Orange and there clearly is no enforcement. I would not recommend that anyone who wants to live decently to move into any of the Blackstone properties.

Always be courteous to the person you're speaking with on the phone! if you don't have time to answer simple application questions, being rude and rushing shouldn't be the next step, especially not yelling either. Now if this how Lotus 315, Aura 240, Indigo 141, Essence 144, Blackstone 360 Residence, I'd prefer to put my money elsewhere. I'll be sure to make my clients aware of this while on their journey of a new home for comfort. Customer service is easy to give in your role Maurice with Blackstone 360 residency.

This building under a suck management, we have been living for 4 months and they never fixed our AC in the unit, imagine going through the whole summer with broken Air Conditioning, instead of fixing the main cause of having the AC not cooling, they kept adding freon every time they decide coming in to take a look at it. There Fire Alarm system is a nightmare, 4 time we have to evacuate the building due to fire alarm going off and guess what they are all of them falls alarms, one time in the middle of the night and another time on Saturday at 6am. please if you have kids don’t think about renting here, people are smoking illegal stuff in the building and you can smell it all over the place. I do not recommend renting here. Think about your safety. The other day one of the tenant was complaint about finding a rat in dishwasher.

We moved into Aura 240 in June 2021. Maurice Arline was our leasing agent and was extremely efficient, personable and patient. We were torn between unit 1404 in Aura 240 which is a beautiful, large duplex penthouse apt with a large balcony that overlooks the NYC skyline, and a duplex unit in one of the other buildings that the company owns. After changing our mind a couple of times Maurice made sure we got the apt we wanted. We took 1404 in Aura. The apt is stunning. it has 30ft ceilings in the living room. if the apt was in Manhattan it would've rented for 5x what we paid. All the utilities were included in the rent so we didnt have to worry about the electric bill while running the AC all day and night on both floors. The building staff was friendly and attentive. When we moved in our oven took a long time to heat up and they replaced it with a brand new one the same day! This was our dream apt. Jaw dropping layout, view and finishes. We had a jacuzzi tub on the second floor and the bathrooms are huge. We are so upset the we had to relocate. I feel like I'm living in a shoe box compared to 1404. Our property manager Frederich Gautreau was really helpful when it came time for us to move. We should've been moved out by the 1st of June but since it was so difficult he gave us a few extra days and didn't even charge us a prorated rent.

Lastly, they management company threw a holiday party for all the tenants who wanted to come with food and drinks for everyone. I met the owner and obviously he's very successful but he was one of the most down to earth successful business owners I have ever met. I read some of the negative reviews and I wanna say that we didn't see as much as a single bug in the apt let alone mice. We had no issues with any of that. I guess if you don't keep your apt clean anything is possible. The nicest apt we've ever lived in. We were the envy of everyone who saw the apt.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT …..All 4 building absolutely BEAUTIFUL and offer very nice amenities, however management is HORRIBLE. I was going to rent here but after reading the views I changed my mind. I had already paid my security deposit but never got to sign the lease because the file I was sent kept on crashing making it impossible for me to read it. Since I changed my mind and thankfully had not signed anything, I contacted my leasing agent Maurice, he informed me that the process to get my money back would take about a week, which I completely understood. It has now been 4 weeks and every time I contact Maurice he promises to call me but never does, lucky the only 2 times I was able to get him on the phone I recorded our conversation where he assures me he will have a check for me by the end of the day and then completely ignores my calls, E-mails & messages. I am a pregnant women now undergoing a lot of distress due to this situation, I’ll be seeking legal advice on how to handle this but STAY AWAY FROM HERE. Management is indeed unprofessional, irresponsible and negligent.

management is moving in a different direction recently they have been trying to evict tenants in as little as 10 days past the 1st. if you dont pay by the 6th you receive a $75.00 late fee and account is sent to collections and you must pay an additional $175.00 $250.00 total for being 6 days late is pretty steep especially for people with families . They do not care if you paid on time for 5 years if you are late for one month they will begin the eviction process. Unless your loaded I do not suggest renting here and risking your families well being. Just because your financially stable does not mean you may not fall on rough times and not allowing loyal tenants atleast 30 days to regroup themselves before trying to evict them is astonishing. There are cheaper and more valuable apartments in the area. Do not let them fool you on the notion that utilities are included water is always warm or cold I have went a week straight with my 2 year old toddler taking cold showers. The gym is a trick to get you to move in everything is old and rusty in there.
I have been renting apartments for years and I hav never seen a magement provide subpar service and still be extremely aggressive with tenants for on time rent payments pleaaaase save your time and money. There are other managements that will appreciate your business.

Old Review have been living here for about a year and it has been great. Cleaning staff is on top of everything, security is great, everyone is extremely friendly including the building manager Tamer. Good move !!!!
