The typical blood sucking landlords. Although legally turning off the air is allowable in September, it's 88 degrees in my apartment today and we have been experiencing high temps all week for this time of the year.
But yet Management will not turn the air back on. Tenants paying upwards of $3500 are expected to cool off with hot air from Fans, how ridiculous! Luxury should be omitted from this building's description. The building wreaks of weed and rotten garbage, roaches & mice everywhere, garbage on the floors in the compact room and management does nothing to stop tenants from wreaking havoc in the building except continuous emails and posts threatening to fine tenants. This building is absolutely NOT WORTH what they are currently asking for. So many empty apartments because people move in and see what a dump it really is and move out, others move out because they simply cannot afford the ridiculous rent. It's a vicious cycle in this building but the owners/management don't care because they get more money each time a tenant moves out and a new one moves in. They prefer you move out!

Mice is still a huge issue in this building. Even the outside exterminator company agrees it is a building issue. WE HAVE DEAD MICE IN THE COMPACTOR ROOM, THE LOBBY, THE LAUNDRY ROOM, AND IN THE UNIT. This property has incompetent individuals working in the leasing office. For the amount of rent they receive from 270 units that are in this building, you would think the building would be up to code and clean but it’s not. I am excited to be moving out in a month. But if you are looking to rent from this property, I promise you, you will regret it in so many ways. I was rented an apartment with an ongoing mold issue, huge holes in the unit, unsealed cabinets and smelling water. I have contacted the city twice on this property and when the city did their inspection of my unit, they found many things that were not up to code. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

This building does a great job of feeding you lies on their website. I’ve been here for over 5 years in 2 different apartments. They have a VERY bad mouse problem. My apartment is so poorly put together the windows don’t work properly the sink is always spraying out from the side and my stove is horrible. In my very first apartment here the roof was leaking and coming down. The building is not horrible but trust me you will get tired of living here because they don’t care to fix it. They just try to hide it with putting things on top of it.

Runaway! These apartments are not worth it! Theses pictures are nothing but false advertisement. SDK is the worst management team I have ever worked with. Not all apartments have stainless steel appliances. The kitchens are not fully equipped. Please read the comments the water, heater/ac never work in the building. All elevators are never working. Try having to walk up 18 flights of stairs on a hot summer day after working a full day. The building always stink, and it has nothing but critters roaming the building (ie roaches, and mice). Half the washing machine in the building don’t work or it’s failing apart. The plumbing system is so bad that feces come up through the tub. The 24 hour door man is a JOKE because it’s always someone different so they let anyone in the building. The pool is away under construction. The gym literally only have two machines that work. The list can go on and on!

Just horrible and I am beyond disappointed and regretful that I moved to this overpriced mouse trap! Turn on the shower this morning and AGAIN no hot water! I let it run for a few minutes and still no hot water! This is the 3rd time in 8 days that I've had to take a cold shower in the morning. This has been a recurring problem since I moved in and the mice, Ugh! This building also has a very high turnover, tenants are constantly moving in and out. Once the shelter in place is lifted, I too plan to move!

MICE! A metric ton of mice! Mgmt will try to blame it on the tenant by claiming the apartment has clutter or "poor housekeeping" or a dog dish out (they allow pets) but the fact is that mice come into an apartment when there is a hole through which they can enter. Turns out that the piping into the apartments (water, central heating) aren't properly sealed. But you only discover this by talking to other tenants--the Mgmt won't fix it unless you specifically complain about it. Otherwise, they just send an exterminator who will only put down glue traps. The traps work, but more mice just keep coming! Its also general mediocre workmanship and old decor. The bathroom cabinets in the apartments look like something out of the 1970's.

No mice or Roaches in my Unit... Maybe the lower floors? Maybe your is a mess i dunno. But everything i ask for, managment has taken care of it. For the price , the dog park, the pool, the security, gym, playground, and club house its an awesome place to live. Clara, Monique and Ms. Gonzalez have been professional and helpful.
