booked a 12' moving truck directly thru budget's website, where it showed this address as pick up location & with available trucks. i drove an hour to this location where i was informed they do not have trucks on site for rentals, and the guy at the rental desk could barely even find our booking number. i paid movers to help me for what ended up being 3 hrs in total for nothing to actually be moved. what a waste of time, money, and all of my friday morning.

Rented for 30 days. Went back a week later to extend either a week or another 30 days. Was told they can’t. Then told to come back at the end of 30 days and I could renew at the same $800. Then corporate said the same. Went back and the rate was $1600. Made it clear I must have this same size vehicle on the 29th. Was assured on 3 occasions it would be renewed at the same rate. Now they tell me there is nothing they can do and sorry for the inconvenience. I hardly call 5 people strand d without a vehicle that was needed to go to PA I. For a wedding an inconvenience. So they charged me the same monthly fee for 5 extra days. And wouldn’t let me rent for the month. I had no choice but to pay. Or miss the wedding. Never again. Will I use Budget or Avis. They are the same company

My husband & I were back in the Jersey area to close on our townhome end of January. Reserved an SUV at this location for our drive back to NC with a 3rd passenger, so we were a little concerned about the space & luggage for our 8 hour drive back. Went to pick up the SUV and were pleasantly greeted by Audra. She was a lifesaver and was able to get us into a much larger SUV to accommodate our needs and alleviate our concerns about space. Audra was Both courteous and professional, as well as just a sweet human being. This review is long overdue, as once we arrived back to our new home in NC after a 9 hour drive, we found out a pipe had burst in our home, and flooded the entire home along with all of our belongings. We’ve been living in a hotel room since, but I just wanted to thank Audra for taking good care of us!!!

My family was visiting from UK.
So I rented a vehicle so I could take them all to the airport. (JFK) from Eatontown NJ.
The pickup time was 12Pm. On a Sunday.
But they didn’t tell me that the office actually closed at 12Pm.!!. How is one supposed to deal with this garbage!!
Really P’d off.

The vehicle that I received was full of dog hair, which I am highly allergic to. I had to rely on my allergy medication. Every time I drove my vehicle. Additionally, when I called to extend my rental, which I had to do due to a family emergency, Jesus the CSR on the 800 number gave me one price for the rental extension. However, when I dropped off the vehicle, I was told that there was an additional per diem charge above the cost that was quoted to me.
You would think a company as large as budget would properly clean a vehicle prior to re-renting it to the next customer and you would think that their customer service representatives would be aware of all of the additional fees and charges that are going to be added. Unless that was done purposely.
I will add that the rep at the local office was great but overall the renter of this vehicle prior to me clearly did NOT follow the rules that were clearly stated at the point of pickup and I paid the price for that.
Overall I was disappointed with this. Had the rep at the point of pickup not been kind and warm, I would have given only one star.

I have used this location in the past with no issues and booked online as well as paid in full ahead of time to save a few bucks. This time they still charged me after I returned the car. Not worth my time to fight for the $14 but will NOT BE GOING BACK AND WILL TELL EVERYONE THAT I KNOW NOT TO USE BUDGET OR THIS LOCATION.

Horrible, dispicable and ZERO dependability.
DO NOT RENT anything from this location.
Reserved a 16' truck 6 months prior to my move. Confirmed 1 month before, confirmed 3 days before.
The day OF moving, I hired some movers, went to get the truck was told, oh we cant get you one. no explanation, no remorse, nothing. These people are rotten to the core and they would only do us a service if they folded up this location and went out of business. One star is too many for these non caring useless car/ truck rental agency. Rotten to the core.
