I had the pleasure of speaking with Anedia (Leasing Manager) while I was on my lunch break and she overheard my conversation about needing a new place. She pulled up the website and even showed me pictures of the property. She was really good at listening to my concerns and understanding my needs about what I needed in my next apt home. It was also my understanding she was new to the property but I wouldn't have been able to tell at all. She sold the property to me without me touring. She's a great asset to the property and I'm going to be setting up a tour in the next coming up weeks.

I’m rating my experience with the Madison Place Apartments, property manager, and corporate a 0/10. I would not recommend anyone live here. I’ve had problems with my air conditioning unit since May 2024. The temperature in my apartment has been as high as 84 degrees. I’ve put in multiple work orders, emailed the property manager to get this issue resolved to no avail. Maintenance comes out and only replaces the air filter, then close the work order stating that the a/c is working properly when it’s 80 plus degrees in my apartment. On June 26th a portable air conditioning window unit was finally placed until “the part” that was ordered came in to have my air conditioning unit fixed. Two weeks went by and I had not heard from Alisa regarding “the part” that was ordered. I kept getting the run around when I emailed and asked about it, so I called corporate to see if they could help me. The day that I called corporate Alisa the property manager retaliated against me and had a maintenance worker come to my apartment and remove the portable window unit, at that time there was an open work order for no A/C and it was 80 degrees in my apartment. As of today August 19, 2024 my air conditioning unit is still not working properly, and the part that was ordered in June hasn’t come in. I’ve asked Alisa several times whats the name of the part we’re waiting on and she can never tell me. I asked both maintenance men as well and both maintenance workers stated no part was ever ordered for my unit. I’ve emailed the property manager pictures of my thermostat because the temperature was above 82 Friday -Sunday this past week. I asked MULTIPLE times if I could have another portable unit to put in my kids room, and I’ve been ignored each time by Alisa the property manager. There are several other apartments who have had their window units for months, but she refuses to put one in my apartment. I would not recommend anyone live here at the Madison Place Apartments.

If I could give 0 I would. Our ac hasn’t worked in over a month and a half. We keep putting in maintenance orders and they keep coming out only looking at my thermostat, then say they will be right back and never coming back and saying that it is fixed and now I’m on month 2 of a $400 power bill because my ax is constantly running trying to cool my apartment down, and it’s set to 68 but it never cools past 73, and it keeps getting to 82 in my apartment and I have twin 1 year olds. I’m so ready to move out. Ever moving in was a huge mistake. I would not EVER recommend anyone moving into these apartments

I set my move in date over two months in advance, then 5 days before the move in date I was notified the apartment was unavailable and the only option was another unit that had a move in date of a month later, and was 100 dollars more a month. I asked if this 100 dollar difference in rent could be waived since I did not choose this unit and it would not have been my choice to move into it except for in this emergency situation. They told me that was not possible and I could either pay the up charge every month or get a refund on my security deposit and live somewhere else. Truly disappointed in the lack of accommodation and timely communication. The 100 dollars a month difference means much more to me than it ever would to the apartment complex.

I have to give a big shout out to Savannah! Literally always so sweet and helpful when I call the front office for assistance. But today, really topped it! I was literally frustrated rushing and running late to pick up my daughter from bus stop coming from work and Savannah waited for my daughter at bus stop until I arrived. She didn’t have to but she did and I appreciate her act of kindness because she really did help me out today. ?

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Living here has been a nightmare. We have had this horrible wet smell in our apartment for 3 months now. My father in law was in town a couple months ago and told one of the maintenance guys about the smell and he told us that we must be hiding a dog in the apartment. We don’t own an animal. Fast forward, my Mother in law came in town and complained it smelled like mold in our apartment. So we went and got a at home mold test, 48 hours after testing the dish we tested in is full of mold. We immediately went and told Savannah at the front desk. David ( maintenance guy ) came in and told us it is so hard to find a leak or to know where mold is. He also said that he would be back the next day to look in between the walls, because that might be where the mold is. Well that night, me and my fiance found a small leak, under our kitchen sink. Wasn’t so hard to find? May I add that I have a 15 month of child, her and my fiance have had a terrible cough for over a month. On 5/31, my fiance left work because it was hard for him to breathe, we immediately took him to urgent care where we were told all of his symptoms line up with mold exposure. He was also told he had a Bacterial respiratory infection. We were also told my 15 month old daughter possibly had the same infection, but they were not comfortable putting her under an x-ray to find out. So once we left the urgent care, we went to the front office and told Savannah what the urgent care Doctor had told us. She sent us to talk to Alisa. Immediately, Alisa told us that she can almost guarantee we don’t have mold. She says it’s the air quality in our unit. She supposedly has a company coming out to clean our vents and that should fix the issue? We’ve showed them our at home mold test, with mold all in the dish and all we were told is that was hard to believe. Alisa has been one of the worst people to work with. When I expressed my concerns about my child being sick, all I was told was “ I am a mother too “ with an attitude. I’ve expressed my concerns about both my daughter and finances health, since it’s already effecting their health, and all I’ve been told if something bad happens, it’s my problem to deal with. They refuse to test our apartment for mold, and said if we wanted to test we are more than welcome to at our expense. It is not our responsibility, in my opinion. No where in the lease/contract does it say that. I’ve also told Alisa, that I cannot let my child keep living in a unsafe environment that is making her sick, she told me we were more than welcome to leave, but still we’re obliged to pay rent each month while paying to live somewhere else. I am very disappointed by the management here, very unprofessional. My fiance is out of work because of his breathing problems because of the mold, we are racking up medical bills. No one there cares. All they care about is getting there money each month. I will attach pictures of “ assumed mold. “
Please do yourself a favor, and do not move here. There are way better options else where.

They told us we could paint so we did then got charged $3,000 when we moved out. They’re liars. Get everything in writing if you stay here. Or better yet, avoid Dasman Residential like the plague

If I could leave 0 stars I certainly would. It takes them forever to fix anything. My heat is not working and I have a 2 year in my apartment. Every single time I call the office savanna seems to have a problem with it like I am bothering her and always has an attitude with me and I’m sick of the disrespect. The maintenance guys are sweet and want to help but it takes forever for them to fix anything and they always state they have to order parts. I have to call or ask when they are coming to fix anything. When we first came we wanted a floor level apartment and savanna lied and said that is what we will have and now we are in an upstairs apartment, we took it because we needed to move from the place we where living. They need to hire someone in savanna spot or tell her to change her attitude towards the renters.
There is mold in my apartment. Every time we put in a work order they show up and mark it as fixed when it’s not. They did this with our fridge last week. Our cat has been outside since we have moved in and after I left the first review I was treated and told to bring my cat inside because they would be calling animal control on my cat. Then my husband was called today and was told they were going to put cat traps out to catch my cat. We have lived here for 5 months and this is the first time they have said anything about him being outside. He is not bothering anyone and all of my neighbors love him and pet him. One has even taken him inside her apartment for a bit, this was the property managers ( god daughter) who lives in front of me. I feel as if Savanna is treating me by taking my cat if he decides to run out when I open the door and I can’t catch him now. Because I called her out in the review. They are very disrespectful and I do not recommend living here. Since she is petty and wants to threaten me. I will post pictures of the mold. The picture I posted is where they marked something as fixed when the parts needed to be ordered.
Our floors upstairs are uneven and it is questionable if we may fall through the floor. The air vent intake is so corroded with dust and who knows what else! I have tried to clean it multiple times . ( will post picture) I feel as if we moved into a not clean apartment and I’ve been having to clean up all this. If I was not disrespected and they have not been rude to be I wouldn’t have blasted them by this review but I’m sick of it and being nice to someone who has been so rude to me. You have to go into the office to get Savannah attention because the she won’t answer the phone. She flirts with peoples husbands by answering their phone calls but not a women’s phone call. Worst place ever! Do not rent from here. I’ve had to call multiple times to someone on the phone and my husband called and she finally answered. We are ending our lease.
They do not have cameras and my car was broken into last week so not the safest place to live. I was told my neighbors car was also broken into.
For the 1300$ a month we pay for a 2 bed 2 bath take the money elsewhere where you are respected and appreciated.
Hopefully nobody else has to go through this.
1/31 we moved out and broke our lease , I’ve added more pictures of stuff they never came to fix. Which is the water everywhere in the kitchen, and the fact my heat isn’t working. They have horrible management that are disrespectful and the property manger waved her hand in front of my husbands face. This is the absolute worst place to live.
