We have been in our rental for just over a month. Tyler has been such a great landlord! He was patient and clear when we asked questions about the lease. He accommodated us right away when we wanted to get the keys a couple days early. He always answers calls or text right away and has been so helpful in getting things fixed for us. We discovered that there was no mailbox on the street for the property. Tyler had a new mailbox dropped off right away so that we could put it up and notify the post office that we are now on their route. There were a few outlets that didn't have the 3 prong fronts on them. He came out the very next day to install them for us. We got a new washer and dryer, had it installed and found that the drain for the washer was not allowing water go down. He came out the very next morning, on a Sunday to take a look and fix the issue. When he had done all he could, he had a company come out the very next day to complete the repairs. Everything works 10X better and it was never an issue to him. He's been great and if this is any sign of how our tenant/landlord relationship will be moving forward, I'm looking forward to living here for a long time. Thanks so much!

I can not say enough good things about Try Investments. I made it a priority to leave a review due to others leaving a bad review. I came a crossed them when I was in the middle of selling my house and going through a separation of 12 years. I was a stay at home Mom with very little credit. Luckily I was able to pay the 1st year in rent and double deposit for them to give me a chance. I lived there for 2 years, that place was my healing place for my two girls and I. The only reason why we moved was to move to acreage and a bigger place for us. I took great care of the place and received my FULL deposit back. I can not thank them enough for giving my girls and I the chance to live and take care of THEIR rental. That being said, the bad reviews that you are seeing are by people that don’t follow the contract and take care of something that is not technically theirs. I hope this helps for the future Tenants that are responsible and take care of the things they are legally supposed to.

This company is not understanding or compassionate AT ALL. My boyfriend is dealing with a sudden medical emergency and wasn’t able to get in to pay rent yet and Try investments are stating because there has already been one late fee saved on file that’s been waived (a year plus ago) they weren’t going to do it again. This to me seems very harsh and I feel like there should be some sort of solution to help after having to call 13+ times before I even heard back from them when I’ve been trying to call since Sunday morning (the 4th.) to try to eliminate this issue.

Definitely make sure you have all of your information together because this place has no mercy. When my boyfriend and I applied our deposit started out as $1200, then it went to $1400. Then when one of my old landlords got a new number and they couldn’t get ahold of him, that was an additional $500 on our deposit. My boyfriend lived with his parents for 4-6 months and that didn’t count as rental history so that was ANOTHER $500 on deposit. So our total deposit would’ve been $2400 plus rent. Nope. Just make sure you keep an eye on how that money adds up. Never heard of anything like this. We have never been evicted or had any negative experiences with any of our landlords. Was a completely ridiculous experience.

We stopped by the office to drop off paperwork and were so impressed with the customer service! Process was fast and easy. Communication on leasing has been honest, clear, and straightforward.
When my fiance had a flat tire, Dalia, who helps with leasing, changed it for her without complaint in bad weather, making sure she was safe to drive and had everything she needed.

This company is horrible! The unit we lived 4515 Campbell dr has really bad mold issue in it - that they’re not doing anything about it other then covering it up prior to moving in new renters. We were handed couple chemicals and were tolled to take care of it ourselves while we lived there and had mold growing everywhere. We always paid our rent on time and while they had our deposit (twice the normal amount) they took out the prorated rent amount from our deposit and slapped $75 late fee. They are scam! We are so glad that moved out right after our lease ended and no longer rent from them.

I would give 0 stars if I could. We were told no one had applied for the unit we applied for upon sitting down with an agent and turning in all our paperwork. We were told we would get a call by Monday. She called all our references the same day we applied(thursday). No call on Monday so Tuesday evening we call to check in and this woman, cant rememeber her name, but she has a thick accent. Russian maybe. Blonde. Tells us she rented it to someone else! After she told us no one else had applied and we were first in line. The paperwork process for this apartment was more lengthy and ridiculous than any other apartment I've ever lived in. The deposits were INSANE and beyond ridiculous. Nearly $4,000 to move into a duplex where the rent was $1080. My boyfriend straight up said to her on the phone, "so you knew you already had a renter but you took our $100 application fee money anyways?" Of course she denied it. Shady shady shady. Dont rent from these people. Deposits kept increasing for literally no reason and the amounts were astronomical. Never have I been denied from an apartment. I've lived in plenty and NEVER have I been denied or been asked to pay so much in deposits. Rent from them if you dare.

The owner is judgemental and rude. Told me that it was my fault that I had ID theft accounts on my credit and I should just pay them. I needed to own up to my mistakes in life and she thought it was laughable that I would even dare apply knowing these accounts were on my history.
"I will never rent to someone with this type of history. Even with the police reports you brought in. I only rent to those with impicable credit"

Well, I turned around and rented a much larger house, smaller deposit, less utilities required and the owner here said that there was ZERO LEGAL REASON for me to be denied based on my credit even without the police reports.
