Terrible Customer Service at TD Bank

I had an extremely disappointing experience at TD Bank. Their posted business hours were from 11 AM to 2 PM. I arrived right at 11 AM, only to be told by the employee, Maria, that I needed my Social Security Number to resolve my issue. I went back home, wasting time and money, and returned with my document.

When I got back at 1:48 PM, Maria deliberately avoided helping me. She kept walking around pretending to be busy, stalling until 1:59 PM, and then told me she couldn’t assist me anymore because it was almost closing time and she couldn’t have a customer inside after 2 PM.

This was a complete lack of empathy, especially knowing that my issue was urgent and that I wouldn’t be able to return for another week. Absolutely terrible service from Maria.

I would not recommend this branch to anyone who expects professionalism and respect for their time.

Manuel Payan is a horrible manager. I have been coming here for years and never had an issue until Josue Gomez and Manuel Payan denied a deposit because I was not in my husband account. I am making a deposit of quarters and they denied service to me and told me they cannot accept. I then went to ask what if I am simply just making a bank deposit which people do all the time and he then got very upset at the loophole I found and questioned me where I got my quarters from (if i was depositing hundred dollar bills im sure i wouldnt get asked, but quarters is heavy and gives them extra work) When I told him where I got them from he went to tell me I he couldn't accept it because it's considered business (just some savings and 1 laundry machine quarters) and i explained that it is NOT a business and I have been doing these deposits for over 5 years and no issues. He was very upset, turned me away and was very rude and nasty!

I would give zero stars if I could. The customer service is horrible, they say their opening hours are until 6pm but if you get there at 5:25pm they won't help you. And the worst part is the lack of security at this bank, my account was hacked twice in less than a year. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

ATMs are always down. Definitely the most inconvenient bank which is sad as they were the best 10 years ago. Moving accounts to Chase instead

So bad. I try to cash a check the manager said that is not Shure if she can do it she don’t know the rules of the bank. Lost time in. 😡

If I could give them a zero stars, i would the most rude and unprofessional place i have ever been. TD Bank has lost the great customer service they were known for what a shame.

The manager Manuel is the rudest banker I have evet run into. I bet they are losing clients abd employees because of him. I'm not asking for him to be fired, just trained.

Today I went to the bank to withdraw money, and I had the worst service of my life. The branch manager, named Manuel Payan, simply refused to let me withdraw my money or close my account. I’ve always used my driver’s license as ID, and they refused to accept it, saying it had to be a passport only. When I started arguing that I make these same withdrawals every month, he suddenly claimed he didn’t understand Portuguese, even though he had been speaking to me before. He was extremely arrogant, and in the end, I left without being helped or able to close my account.

I called the bank’s support line, and they told me this is not normal, and that he should have accepted my driver’s license. After that, he just refused to assist me any further, told me to leave, and to come back only with a passport.

AVOID THIS BRANCH
AND MANUEL PAYAN!
