Went to see a house listed by Maria Gomes during its OPEN HOUSE. At the door, agent asked to see Buyer Representative Agreement or call my agent to confirm with her or no entry. I don’t carry my agreement all the time and not all buyer agents respond on the spot when you call them.

Since open houses are public, agreements are not required to attend them. It’s either she is ignorant of the new rule, she is discriminatory or she’s lazy. The purpose of an open house is to attract and accommodate potential buyers because you never know if a walk-in buyer is a high bidder.

If you are a seller, whether you have a hot property or a difficult-to-sell house i.e, in front of a electrical transmission tower and along power lines potentially emitting high EMF with an absurdly high price like the one listed by this agent, think again if you want to work with this agent. You may not get the price you want. There are many agents out there who can help you. Buyers likewise, there are many better ones.

Maria Gomez with Mid-Realty company was extremely helpful when my wife and I were looking to purchase a two-family home. She was always available and enthusiastic to show us houses for sale, and per our request recommended an attorney to handle the closing on a building we purchased.

Besides being so helpful finding the two-family house we purchased as an investment, Ms. Gomez readily recommended contractors that were needed to make repairs that were previously anticipated. The work and reliability of those doing the repairs were excellent.

With Ms. Gomez’s help, she located and vetted prospective tenants, provided a lease agreement and collected the necessary deposits. After two years, both tenants continue to occupy our house, absent of any problems. They always timely pay their rent.

We have contacted Ms. Gomez on various occasions to discuss realty matters (i.e. possible prospective buyer), and she has always willingly made herself available to answer any questions and assist us with necessary information.

I definitely highly recommend Ms. Gomez for any prospective home purchaser. She always goes above and beyond the call of duty, and her friendly and honest manner makes it easy to work with her. Our respect has extended so far, that we recommended her to our son who subsequently bought a home with her help and guidance. She was very instrumental in helping them find just the right area that met their needs and desires.
