Just moved to the area and Freehold Cartage was great with helping me get all set up. I called a few times and spoke with Vanessa and Stacey and they were very patient and kind.
They took a little over a week to get the container out but works just fine and so far no issues.

One of the absolute worst customer service ever! Vanessa! I have been a customer for over 15 years, over the past few weeks I decreased my service from twice a week to once a week and had numerous problems with the driver turning around in my driveway and on my property. I allowed the driver to turn around instead of having to use the turn around further down the street. When I swtiched from 2 days to 1 day he still would park in front of my house and still use my driveway despite the fact they were not servicing my home. I called in twice and spoke to an extremely rude and arrogant person named Vanessa, she claimed she would handle the problem, she did not! The driver contnued to do what he was doing so I called in today to try to rectify the situation and she claimed I was now harrassing her, wait, what? You did not do what I asked and now you are blaming me for your driver trespassing instead of fixing the problem. You then claimed an attorney would send a letter cancelling me, so you dont do your job and then blame me. I spoke to 2 other people in office, Sharon and Erica would were both very helpful and even admitted Vanessa having unwanted attitude and acts very unprofessional. They just lost a customer of 15 years and I will actively influence people not to use FCi on local Facebook pages due to how I was treated by one bad employee. Vanessa, you need to grow up and treat customers better!!! look at photo, its from local FB community page, Vanessa seems to be the root of all the problems there and she is mentioned in most negative reviews, one day management will "take out the grabage"!

I’ve been a customer with unlimited service for 17 years. !!!! Never had an issue , maybe here and there some minor issues but nothing major. We just had a large party with 80 people in our backyard. We put out 5 extra bags of garbage outside our two cans. Garbage was picked up but bags were left behind . I had called customer service and asked how come with unlimited service those extra bags weren’t picked up. I was told only 3-4 extra bags can be left on the side of the curb … it makes no sense to me to pay extra money for unlimited and have a limit. The girl on the phone did say she will call them to go back and pick up the trash but it’s this time only. They did come back. This whole phone conversation really bothered me. We had never had any issues we pay automatically for unlimited service and maybe have two large parties a year and she’s telling me this time only she’s making an exception? What’s the unlimited then? Per the woman on the phone unlimited has a limit (mind blowing to me) apparently they don’t have unlimited service anymore but we are grandfathered and do have a limit now anyways !!!!! I wish someone can explain this logic. The girl by the name Vanessa was very rude and interrupted me while I was asking questions. I had asked how long she’s been working there since I’ve never spoken to her before and no one ever given me this attitude over a garbage situation . She said to stop harassing her by asking how long she worked for the company. I said I’m not harassing you I’m just wondering maybe I’m getting the wrong information that maybe she doesn’t know how unlimited works. We were always told there’s no limit !!! She said if there’s no limit it becomes a commercial service. 😂😂😂 in the meantime we pay wayyyyy more for residential unlimited. Working for the corporate for over 30 years never knew to ask someone how long they working for the company is a harassment. Something new I learn everyday.
Your company will be loosing business if it continues this way. Service is not as good as it used to be and customer service provided by Vanessa is complete disregard and disrespect to the loyal long time customers like ourselves …she was extremely rude!! And very annoyed. We will be looking for another company to give our business to … I will make sure my family and friends know as well what kind of gem working at customer service for you now. Thank you for all these years of great service and customer service up until now!!!

Customer service is awful and the women you get to speak with are very short and nasty. Communication skills are extremely poor all around between staff and to costumers. I do not recommend using them for any of your waste services. Bulk services are pretty much useless.
& don’t expect a full refund upon cancelling services - the only reason I did was because someone in their office called me telling me I was entitled to it, and then the story changed upon me requesting it by email as I was advised to. Highly disappointed in how I had to part ways with the company and won’t be giving them any business again.

We have used Freehold Cartage services for 30 years +. I have decided to write a review because they have improved their services and ease of communication over the past couple of years making it easier to communicate and pay bills. I can email and someone always gets back to me. The garbage can is always left upright and exactly where it was in our driveway. Being in my 70's I appreciate the fact I don't have to go out and deal with any situations other than wheel my container back. Shout out to all the staff and collectors at Freehold Cartage for providing top service to my busy road. I appreciate all of you!

I was a loyal customer of Freehold Cartage for 20 years until I moved into a senior development that had its own pick-up. They were a great company, and I don't think they missed a pick-up in all that 20 years. Never had a problem with spills, left items. I also deal with them as a business customer and they're great with container pick-ups - same day every week, so we can make sure never overfill. Excellent business!
