Over the last several months we went through two life changing real estate transactions. We found the buy first and it came with new issues we leaned heavily on Matt and Schlosser Real Estate to understand and address. A month later, we listed a home that had over time had become central to our life. The term custom built does not capture the emotional investment one puts in to creating a home. The marketing material Matt prepared highlighted the unique aspects of our house beyond the great location of the property. Through it all, we benefited from Matt’s knowledge of the markets along the Jersey Shore and his understanding of our needs through the process.

I have read rather unflattering reviews about Schlosser Real Estate. I thank the tenants who posted their unfortunate experience with this realtor. I will make sure I do not use them for my summer rental. Very disappointed a Tenant has been accused for previous damages. I too have has a similarly experience. I have since found a REPUTABLE realtor that I exclusively deal with. Future renters, please examine your rental carefully upon your first night stay. Record everything to protect yourself. Report findings to your realtor Pronto so everyone is clearly on the same page.

In all honesty, Rachel Baran of Schlosser Real Estate is the best realtor we’ve ever dealt with down the shore. She is very patient, extremely thorough and always determined to find what we were looking for. What also sets her apart is that she’s completely trustworthy and honest; a real pleasure to deal with. Not to mention the fact that she found us the ideal home which actually met all our requirements. We closed on a Lavallette beach block home in May 2023 and couldn’t be happier! It is now public record that my sister‘s house sold for $2.5 million. It didn’t increase in value at all the 13 years my sister owned it but in the year it increased a million dollars.

Schlosser Real Estate was the agency my late sister was using to sell her house in Mantoloking, NJ. Sadly, my sister passed away before the house was sold. My sister purchased the house in 2007 for $1.5mm. The house was listed prior to her death in the $2.3mm range. After her passing, in 2021 the Executor along with Schlosser R.E. Sold the house for the EXACT same price as my sister purchased it for some 13 years earlier, meaning the house did not appreciate at all in value that entire time? The market in 2021 was very strong. Skip ahead to 2023, less than 2 yrs later, and the house is re-listed for $2.5mm. Somehow, in 13 years, it didn’t appreciate in value at all, but in two years it went up $1 million. There has been no major work (or any real work) done to the house in that time. You can look at the details for yourself as they are public record. You can also see the summer rental record over that time frame supporting the value ($8-$12k per week in the summer).

The market was extremely strong in 2021 when the interest rates were at an all time low. Prime waterfront real estate that did not increase at ALL in value in over 13 years? It’s obvious the new owner and Realtor are on the same page as my sister and not Schlosser RE as they are listing for $1mm more in a weaker market which is very telling. I will update with sale price when sold but it’s public record, so pls do your own research. These are facts and public record not “accusations”. Although irrelevant and not sure why personal details were mentioned in the response I’d like to clarify I am NOT an heir and have absolutely no financial interest in the estate, my interest is purely personal.

Schlosser Real Estate and their agent Anna Marie Antoniotti did an exceptional job of listing and selling our beach house in Ocean Beach, NJ. The house was listed on a Thursday and exactly one week later it was under contract for well over the listing price. Anna Marie was always available and extremely helpful in moving the process along through the closing date. She does what she says she is going to do within the time frame committed to and her follow up couldn’t have been any better. You can’t go wrong using Schlosser and Anna Marie as your selling agent.
