We worked with Peter and his team for over a year to find the right house. As first time home buyers, we were really clueless about the process and from day one, Peter came in and explained everything. His experience and expertise was obvious and he made us feel immediately that we were in good hands. We had a lot of ups and downs dealing with various sellers and Peter knew everyone and put in a huge amount of work managing all of those complicated communications. In the end, we bought a house just a few doors down from his own on the most beautiful block in Astoria!

Horowitz Real Estate is wonderful! Peter Horowitz, and his assistant Helen, did a great job helping us to sell our apartment in the Queensview - a coop in Astoria. Peter and Helen took much of the responsibility for recommending a contractor for needed updates/renovations, and then overseeing progress on renovations. Additionally, they understood the tricky hoops to jump through for the coop and took the lead on much of that. And they actually found a qualified buyer that paid a fair price even before the unit was officially listed - multiple showings were unnecessary. Peter is part of the community in Astoria. Horowitz Real Estate was a delight to work with and I highly recommend them.

My roommate and I were able to secure a stellar apartment in LIC thanks to our agent, Ms. Patricia Harvey. I have nothing but praise for Ms. Harvey as she was instrumental in our efforts by keeping a very steady line of communication, being readily available for any questions we had, and reliably reaching out to us with updates to walk us through the procedure. We ran into a couple obstacles that Ms. Harvey patiently helped us navigate through as well. She was also very good with maintaining contact between us and the landlords. I strongly recommend Ms. Harvey to anyone that is looking to find a place to stay.

Horowitz Real Estate is terrific!! Peter Horowitz, and everyone in the office there, did a wonderful job helping us to sell our apartment in the Queensview coop in Astoria. Our situation was tricky, because we now live out of town. Peter and his team took a lot of responsibility for overseeing progress on renovations and checking that work was done well, as well as doing an excellent job of listing the apartment and finding a buyer at a great price. Peter is part of the community in Astoria. The residents and management in places like Queensview know and respect him. Horowitz real estate gets my enthusiastic recommendation!!

Horowitz Real Estate was incredible to work with! Peter is so easy to connect with and offers a great balance of information sharing as well as listening to clients and their wants/needs to offer the best level of support! We reached out to him about selling our apartment in Astoria and after meeting to show him our place, discuss initial asking price and how we wanted to proceed, he brought over a great photographer that took the most amazing bright & warm pictures of our place that made it look so inviting to potential buyers. Peter and his team fielded many interested emails, calls, etc. and ran multiple open houses as well as numerous private showings. When we had offers, they helped us navigate them with ease and then finally through the process of going in contract to signing they gave us great support and were very skilled at coordinating with the lawyers, property management company and board needs as we were in a co-op. We appreciated how they always kept lines of communication open and were transparent and honest with us about every stage of the process. We definitely recommend Peter Horowitz and his team particularly in Astoria because they have nuanced understanding about the neighborhood, and excellent experience and context to negotiate fairly and diligently. We will definitely work with them again if we return to the area!
