I've lived in my apartment for 4 years and had no complaints. All of the maintenance requests were handled in a timely fashion. Omer was super friendly and accommodating. The online portal also made it easy to make my rent payments with a busy schedule.

I would highly recommend Shuster (and my building) to anyone who was looking for a place to live in jersey city!

I lived in Shuster’s home for around 3 years and never faced any problem. Office staff and super (Dino) are very professional and supportive. Property Manager, Omer Zwickel is amazing man!, very friendly, super quick and helpful. He was very proactive to resolve all the issues we reported over the phone and the issues logged into online portal. Omer was very understanding and helpful during lease renewal process, he even went out of his way to help us during exit process. We have had great time and highly satisfied with services & help provided by the Omer and office staff, I would highly recommends Shuster’s home.

Shuster Management has been an absolute pleasure to work with and I've greatly enjoyed my time living at the Oakman so far. The building amenities are top notch and the entire staff is extremely helpful and a joy to interact with everyday, especially Raj and Genesis. This has been by far my best rental experience in the NYC area and I couldn't recommend Shuster more.

I’ve been living at an SPM property for over 3 years. The building is always clean and well maintained. I never had any major issues and any small issue (ex. fixing a light fixture) I had was always addressed in a very prompt manner. I recently received a job transfer to another state, which meant I had to break my current lease about 4 months ahead of time. As you can imagine, with any standard lease agreement, there are many fees involved in an early termination situation. However, after working with Omer, he was able to give me a fair deal. He was very understanding and patient with my situation. He wasn’t trying to charge me more than what was fair and necessary. I greatly appreciate all his help. I highly recommend SPM and if in the future I moved back to NJ, I would definitely rent from them again.

My husband and I found our 18 month time living at the Hamilton House an overall pleasant experience. We were very pleased with the quality of fixtures and the spaciousness of our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment. This apartment complex offered many convenient amenities that we very much appreciated, and regularly used, including the fitness center, the rooftop sitting area and the morning coffee time in the lobby.

More than anything else, we found that Hamilton House had a strong sense of community, which we valued and attributed to the hard-working, professional staff. The maintenance crew always keeps the place neat, clean and running well. Ricardo, the building supervisor, handled any concern we ever had promptly and personally. An easily approachable, joyful man with a kind smile and the patience of Job, Ricardo always seems to be around working on something or another somewhere in the building! Since we moved in, the folks there have been increasing the number of special events in the building to bring people together, which is really nice. We can’t say enough about the friendly and accommodating concierge! Shout out to our friends, Mark & Kathleen!

While we truly liked living there, there were a couple of things that were challenging about the building. Firstly, freight trains regularly pass nearby. They can be heard at different times during the day, including the middle of the night. We got used to it by having a white noise machine going in our bedroom. Secondly, the walls between apartments did not seem to block out loud sounds sufficiently. For example, we always knew when our neighbors were playing video games with the volume cranked up or a dog was barking in the apartment below. Our solution was to go to another room or put in our earbuds.

Still, we think that this is a very nice place to live. The management here listens to tenant concerns, takes them seriously and responds to them quickly. We had an issue that was not being resolved through regular channels, and when we sent an email to Dmitri, the property manager, it was resolved immediately. So, the good things about Hamilton House far outweigh anything negative about it, in our opinion.

This is why we recommend Hamilton House and give it 5 stars.

I have lived at a Shuster Property in JC for over a year and have found the management team to be attentive, professional and reasonable. Omer has been a great liasion for our family treating us with care and consideration. Also our building Super Dino is always around taking care of the property keeping the building clean and in working order; as well as organizing trash and parking area for our car. I would recommend you and your family to consider renting from a Shuster Property.

Update. July 2021

We have been living at one of the buildings owned by DVORA for the past 2 years... We have noisy neighbors above us and it has been a complete mess for us. It sounds like a daycare is above us with constant running and stomping. Our peace and quiet is no longer and management is not really helping us. We have been dealing with this situation for the past 4+ months and nothing has changed. We are very unhappy with our experience here in the past few months. As I am writing this,... all I here is sporadic stomping and running.

Statement below was written 2 Years ago. Things have changed.

Great and understanding property managers. They were more than willing to listen and attend to my needs and treat their tenants with respect. I can assurely recomend them.

I have lived in one of the properties for 2 years. Being this was my first apartment I am glad to say I have had no issues. If I needed to make a noise complaint or had a question about adding a dog onto the lease I spoke with Omer who was always extremely helpful! And also would like to shoutout Dino! He was an extreme help if there were any issues inside the place that needed fixing!
