I just want to take a moment to thank Tiffany Booker for helping me find my first home. This was an exciting and scary experience for me and from the moment I met Tiffany I knew I would be in great hands. She came highly recommended from a close friend. She set time out to give me a presentation to get to know her and what the process would look like. We had consistent communication, which always made me feel at ease and gave me confidence that this was going to happen with her. I know at times my fear had gotten the best of me during the process, but Tiffany always came in with just the right thing to say to help me get back on the search. We worked from December of 2024 until this Monday when I finally closed on my first home. It was an amazing feeling; I cried and hugged her, and I couldn't imagine this experience being as special or stress free without her. Thank you, Tiffany, again!! Stephanie Radecki is THE BEST realtor you could ask for. I was relocating to Montclair and she was so endlessly patient and positive throughout the whole search, which was a mix of remote viewings and in person. She was fast, professional, so kind, and really listened to everything I was saying. She never tried to "sell" me on anything I wasn't sure about and always reassured me that we'd find something I loved, which we absolutely did! She is very well connected and hard-working and went above and beyond to find me the right place for my family. She even gave me local tips to help get me started in a new city. So generous. I couldn't be happier and would recommend her 20 times over.

Alexandra Schulz at Sotheby's is an amazing person and realtor. My wife and I found out we were having twins and needed more space but also something we could afford, and we needed a house soon so we could have time to move and nest before the kids came. We met Alex at an open house and instantly clicked with her. Every interaction we had with her felt genuine and honest. We told Alex what we needed and she understood the assignment right away. She showed us multiple amazing properties and within a few weeks we closed on our current house. She guided us through the entire process and we never felt confused or lost thanks to her. This review is for Liz (Elizabeth) Ruvo. My wife and I closed on our new home in Montclair in 2017.

We'd tried working with a couple of agents before Liz and quickly realized we'd found in her an expert who really understood Montclair. We found we could trust her to always give us the straight answer on any question we had.

The first house we got into contract on needed a ton of work. Thankfully Liz knew literally everyone we needed to get us through the process. She connected us to the most reliable attorney, carpenter, plumber, electrician, roofer, exterminator, you name it. We were new to Montclair so these local connections - and knowing who to avoid! - was essential.

We were blown away by the level of commitment we received. Liz spent countless hours working both directly with us and remotely on our behalf, chasing down tasks by phone and email.

Liz is not just professional but also approachable, relatable and (importantly) fun to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to rely on her expertise again.

Neighbors: I wanted to warn you about a local realtor here at Sotheby's prominent properties in Montclair. Her name is Barbara Garguilio.

This realtors negligence rented my family a unit in Bloomfield with a full blown gas leak in it, among other major issues causing our move in date to be set back more than 6 weeks! She admitted after she was confronted that she had never walked through our listing before renting it out to us.

We told her all about our 4 year old daughter, how she had just lost her biological father to cancer, and how we were moving down to Bloomfield for a new start and how important and special this new place would be to us.

She had no problem charging us the full fee to do basically nothing. Open a door, send a contract, answer a few questions via email, send a text or two and ignore a dozen of them. While i'm sure a great realtor is worth their weight in gold, a bad one can feel hard to pay at all.

Despite numerous requests for a refund or a partial refund at best for the negligence, she continues to maintain that she did absolutely nothing wrong by not walking through our unit before renting it out to us.

We let her know that we paid for money with money from our daughters inheritance, and she continues to be stone cold and heartless. We have never even received so much as a simple apology which would have done wonders.

This was really a horror story for us, it was majorly distressing to our family while mourning the major loss mentioned, and COVID, who needs even more? I want to make sure this doesn't happen to any other moms or families locally. I am positive there are plenty awesome realtors available who would love to help, maybe even some at this location! But this isnt one of them. Avoid Barbara Garguilio.
