In the spring of 2018 we engaged Preferred Properties to sell an iconic commercial building in the heart of downtown Asbury Park which my firm built and owned for more than over 10 years, the Robert Legere Design Center.. We were fortunate enough to work with an extraordinary team headed by George Coffenberg, the owner of the Preferred Properties and his marketing partner, Nicole Chandon. They hit the ground running by engaging top notch photographers to create signage, photography of the entire building and a marketing brochure the likes of which I've rarely seen in the Commercial Real Estate business. As the sales process unfolded they were regularly communicating with me and my partner as offers were being made. They always represented both sides fairly and equitably since they were acting as dual agents. In the end they were able to obtain an excellent price for the sale of the building.
