I lived in Joannes building on 605 Freeburg ave and I couldn’t have had a better experience. It was my first apartment and i’m so thankful for everything Joanne done to make me feel safe and welcomed. If anything needed repaired she always had someone there asap, if I needed a few extra days for rent she would always allow it, and if any of the neighbors were being loud she was always on it. She’s an amazing person (she even offered to feed my cats while I was out of town). If she ever needed in my unit she always made sure to let me know before hand. The ONLY reason I left was to just get into a bigger apartment, otherwise I would still be there. Joanne is more than just a landlord and I’d recommend her to anyone!

Joanne is a great property manager! We have an elderly friend that lives in her building that wasn't answering any of our calls like he normally does so we got a little worried. We were in the neighborhood today and we figured we would stop by and check in on him. His phone was going straight to voice-mail and he wasn't answering his door. His neighbor had just pulled up while we were in the process of trying to reach him and he gave us Joanne's number so we could see if she could do a wellness check on him. She answered right away and was there in 5 minutes! Apparently our friends phone was broken and thats why he wasnt responding. Joanne even went to great lengths by giving him a phone that works!Moral of the story, thank God our friend is okay and thankfully she is a caring and understanding person. Thank you Joanne for relieving us of our worries!

If I could give it less stars I would. Their communication is poor. Maintenance is terrible they let themselves in with no prior notice. Maintenance half the time do not even know what apartment or what repairs need to be made. I’ve been ignored when I notified landlord only one plug works in each room. Nothing in my apartment has been fixed except a cracked window which took weeks to even get. Parking lots always filled with trash and glass. They don’t even pick it up they just mow over it or let the wind take care of it. Other tenants they rent to are loud and sometimes there’s gun shots. And I’ve been here for 6 months 😒I’m so ready to move, this doesn’t make any sense.

Wow 🤩 is not even how I actually feel.

I’ve been renting out a house in belleville for several years trying to make a profit, after five unsuccessful year I was in the whole and ready to sell. After no buyers I decided to try a rental management and found YellowBrick.
We are at 3 1/2 years and I’m turning a profit. Best yet the property has not looked this good in years and my renters are even asking for reference when they move out. I’m currently looking to buy another rental property.
