My husband and I could not be more thankful for Julie Purnell from Gori, Realtors. Julie is more than a realtor, she is a wonderful person who sees her clients and their needs. She helped guide us through our first time selling a home and we couldn't be more grateful. We need to get the home up to date on some things, and know we could have possibly been taken advantage of trying to do the right things. Julie guided us to companies and services we would not have found on our own to help get the house in the shape it needed to be in for the next owners. Julie's expertise and experience were so important during the sales process and is what made selling the home a success. Thank you so much Julie Purnell, you are amazing at what you do!

I’m an out of state investor, contacted David Warner directly about a listing he had. He served as a dual agent. He neglected to advise the property had been condemned by the City of Louisville a year prior. He did mentioned the roof needed replacement but never mentioned this property had already been condemned. The City mentioned there were several notifications posted on the property’s door and were repeatedly removed. The seller’s disclosure did state there were violations but it was NEVER advised that it was condemned. When I requested for photos David said he was out of town and was unable to take photos of the interior. Watch out with him, not honest and deceitful.

Overpriced and poorly managed. I had numerous problems while living in the rental property which was ridiculously priced for the square footage. Somehow water got underneath the tub floor and there was a huge bubble of water that I stood on for about two months until they finally replaced the tub. Took numerous phone calls and complaints to finally get an answer and everytime I called it's like I was bothering them? I also had a huge gopher living underneath my porch. I contacted my landlord and was instructed to pour chemical pneumonia down the hole to get rid of the gopher, which did not work and is a little inhumane right? They never once mentioned bringing a Rodent specialist out to take care of it..... The sad part is Gori realtors pretty much owns all the rental properties in Edwardsville so they've established quite the monopoly, so it makes sense they can charge ridiculous rent prices. I was also hit with some outrageous fees when I moved out, I think there was a $400 charge for carpet cleaning? Anyways horrible property management group but again when you own a majority of the properties I guess they don't really care about customer service. I'd stay away if you can find another property management group in Edwardsville. They haven't even responded to any of their negative Google reviews, pretty sad.

Would give negative stars if I could. Own a house next door to a Gori rental. Every time we interact with them, they have poor communication and change their story. They are always a pain in the a** and NEVER want to take responsibilities for the actions of their tenants or personnel that work for them. They consistently disrespect my wife on the phone and come up with excuses as to why they haven't done anything. Both of the property managers we have interacted with drag their feet. The interactions have taken weeks longer than it should have to resolve with multiple follow-ups on our end. I am appalled and sick of their behavior.

When we look for our next house, we will be sure not to do business with Gori. Gori never gives an ETA, never communicates clearly, and changes their story ALL THE TIME to respond to issues.

Your personnel need some basic training in customer service and what the term "responsibility" means. You need to learn to LISTEN, and not jump to conclusions. Shame that this is how they treat other home owners near their property. Terrible way to carry on the legacy of a truly wonderful human being. I'm certain that nice people work there too. We just have yet to interact with one.

Ultimately feels like this place wants to be property managers that only make money, and don't want to deal with the issues. They are the type of property managers that try to ignore problems long enough so they will go away. Their site states that you can expect quote, “professionalism, commitment, customer service, and integrity every step of the way.” We have not experienced any of those traits once. Just another self-centered business that only cares about you if you can make them money.

Taylor W was terrific! Make sure you talk to her because she will take care of any and everything you'll need. She made sure everything for my move in was on point and satisfactory. I'd recommend this leasing company to anyone and did i mention they are student friendly!!!!!

STAY AWAY FROM 518 Hillsboro Avenue, Edwardsville. ROACHES !!! Gori Property Management oversees this apartment complex. I texted the Gori Property Management - Taylor - for two weeks and she never responded. Finally I called Taylor and she shut me down - assuring me that she will send a terminator the following week. I will not renew my lease and cannot wait to get out of this apartment complex. STAY AWAY FROM 518 Hillsboro Avenue, Edwardsville !!!

Lois Pontius is amazing! I will recommend her to everyone. On top of every detail and awesome personality. We’ve had a few ups and downs with our buy/sell and she went with the flow on every one of them, never made us feel that we weren’t worth her time. She’s a true asset to Gori Realtors.
