I lived on 915 Spiros court for little over a year. After signing our lease, we were given a sheet to fill out with immediate maintenance repairs and damages that we didn't want deducted from security deposit when we would leave. Once I turned in the form, none of the immediate maintenance repairs were completed. In the 18 months that I lived there, none of the repair on the first day, or within the next few months, were completed. For example, the fridge would constantly freeze all of our food and then defrost AND it was very loud. In addition, the bar on the fridge door was secured by glue that quickly broke off and was never repaired. The oven light/fan never worked. The cheapest tiles were applied to the kitchen and bathrooms. With time, almost 1/2 of the tiles broke and crumbled or pulled up on the bottoms of our feet. There were old and broken blinds upon moving in. Stains in the carpets, old green paint that was poorly covered. Dents in the doors, broken light fixtures, no plugs for the bathtub. The intercom never worked. We were not informed that the apartment was invaded with so many COCKROACHES. Despite Orkin coming regularly, this problem never resolved. This was a very unsafe street. A man would hang out on the steps and try to break into cars in the parking lot. Cops were in the cul de sac every weekend. Cops were regularly in the building. The building doors were ALWAYS propped open with stones. Before COVID, there were loud parties in the apartments. Tenants would leave trash in the hallways and punch holes in the walls. The front door glass was shattered and repaired with cardboard. All tenants were fined for placing garbage on the floor next to the garbage cans (despite having cameras that "worked" and could identify who did it). The front lawn and parking lot was littered with so much trash that wouldn't be cleaned up. In the summer, our grass was the longest on the block. When they would finally decided to cut the grass, it was done poorly. Patches of long grass and dead grass sprayed everywhere. In the end, I still left the apartment spotless (I was a housekeeper for several years) and was still only given back 40 dollars out of my 800 dollar deposit. DO NOT RENT HERE. You will regret it.
