Having lived here for 3 months I can safely say that i will never live in another BEAL PROPERTY again. I was mislead about the parking situation, which is a major issue, since there is NO 24 hour street parking available in this area and the paid Metra parking guarantees nothing.
I have had to spend near $1000 in food and or clothing due to failures within the apartment, that made cooking or doing any laundry impossible.
I realize that i may be in the minority as far as these experiences are concerned, which is why I am perplexed by their unwillingness to help me out of a bad situation with this apartment, I feel they are ill equipped for when a "real" situation such as mine occurs.
If the powers that be are reading this, you should know that i offered a very reasonable way to fix this, and i was basically told to pound sand, or pay $3000.
I hope i remain in the minority, but the risk is all yours. If you are considering renting from this company You have been warned if you are reading this.
I included some pics of what they are telling me is normal and necessary. They are pics of the inside of my under sink kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Imagine if you have a pet that gets into you cabinet. these holes go all the way to ground floor.

Moving in to a Beal Properties was an absolutely wonderful experience. The communication was direct and I received replies almost instantly. The whole process was straightforward and they were there to help with any issues. Walking into my apartment, it was the most clean apartment I've ever seen. The building in general is well kept and clean throughout. I highly recommend renting through Beal Properties. Shout out to Dennis who was the best building manager I have ever worked with!

My building manager Gabriella has been extremely helpful and available, and it made moving in go very smoothly with no issues! She responded super fast to any questions I had, so thankful for such a great experience.

Josh has gone above and beyond during my process and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with him. He answered questions around the clock and made sure to follow up. There were general questions I had about moving to Chicago, unrelated to his roles and responsibilities and he responded to every single one without question, pushback or complaints when he really had no obligation to do so. He was able to set up multiple virtual tours for me within the day of requesting them. It's clear that he cares about doing a good job, all property managers should be like Josh! Also shout out to the other people involved for letting me move in early as I didn't read the fine print and didn't do a good job at planning.

She treated me as a priority and I am so grateful that I got to work with her. The moment my top rated apartment was available to view and apply for, she sent me over all of the details- even on a late weekend night! While I was a bit skeptical about Beal and moving into this apartment, I have been pleasantly surprised. I moved in at the beginning of the month, and so far, my experience has been quite nice! The building manager, Gabriella, has been very communicative and helpful. The unit itself was left quite clean, with only a few things I had to tidy up myself. The lobby is newly renovated and the elevator is very fast. Overall, I am very happy with my time here.

Update: I recently had a radiator issue with my unit, but Gabriella and her team were incredibly quick to acknowledge the problem and address it. Very professional and responsive. Couldn’t ask for anything more, they are great!

We recently completed the process of in-person tours, application review, and lease signing with Beal, and the entire experience was incredibly smooth. Christy was fantastic in helping us find the perfect building and unit. She was kind, patient, and attentive throughout the touring process, taking the time to listen carefully to our needs and ensuring we weren’t wasting time on unsuitable options.

Rachel was equally outstanding during the application and approval stages. She was transparent, patient, and always available to answer our questions, whether via phone or email. Her responsiveness and professionalism made what can often be a stressful process feel seamless and stress-free.
