Brett and John managed my rental property for over 13 years. They took care of everything from finding tenants to dealing with condo association requirements. I'm based in London but this was never a problem - they would always get in touch with any issues or updates. If I had any concerns, Brett and John would address them promptly. When it was time for me to sell, Brett helped to find the right buyer. Being so far away from Chicago, it was great knowing that I could rely on CL3!

As a tenant, I absolutely do not recommend renting from a building managed by CL3. I’ve had multiple packages stolen and the complete lack of help I’ve received and slow responses to my emails has been extremely disappointing. They have offered zero solutions, and rejected the many options I have proposed. Not only have they been extremely unhelpful in dealing with the safety and security of the building, but they’ve tried to debate with me on multiple occasions when I submitted maintenance requests. I am counting down the days until my lease is up and I never have to communicate with this property company ever again. If you’re looking for somewhere to live and you see CL3 is the management company, I do NOT recommend signing the lease.

CL3 managed my rental property for years while I was away. They handled the move-in and move-out of tenants and also helped resolve any issues that came up with the unit. My tenants were very pleased with Brett and his team's promptness in addressing issues.

I highly recommend CL3. They were also very helpful when I sold the unit as well. They managed all the offers and was very diligent in tracking down the required documents to close the deal. Thanks Brett and team!!

CL3 is one of the best property management firms i have dealt with. Over the last 7 years they have always been very responsive, cooperative, and have taken care of issues in a timely manner. We had a very good relationship with the entire team.

They are unresponsive and do not act with urgency. They also do not seem to do a thorough job on communicating building rules to tenants and enforcing rules within the lease agreement. They also do not seem to do a solid background check. Would not recommend if you are thinking of using them to manage a property from afar. If you have the time and commitment to micromanage your property with them, maybe they would be okay but overall not impressed.
