I LOVE living here!! The community is great and the staff is always friendly and willing to help. My partner and I needed a place to move into fast, for our last rent house needed immediate work done. We wanted a 2bed but there was only 1bed units available. Whispering Heights was very accommodating to us. They let us rent a 1bed for a month or so until a 2bed opened up. We were actually overcharged, but they were great about fixing it for us with no problem. The units themselves are beautiful! Spacious bathrooms and closets. The maintenance team is fast if you do have any problems. Setting up WiFi is a pain bc technicians from the internet company you use have to come out and get into the utility room, which is locked. My only call out is that I’m close to the dumpster so it’s very loud when the restaurants are closing and throwing out the trash, but not a big deal. The rooftop is great, but it has not had propane working in any of the fire pits yet. The gym is clean and has all the basic workout machines you need. I love the smell of the building- it’s very well maintained. The resident events are fun and creative. The lobby has a great common area for playing games, watching tv, or making coffee. There’s even a pool table! (Please replace the broken pool stick tips). As long as rent doesn’t increase too much over the years, I want to live here for a long time! Pricing is fair currently and I respect that. 10/10 recommend!

I moved in about a month ago and it’s been great. I’m impressed by how clean the property is (inside & out). They have great amenities and I appreciate the community building events they have around the holidays. The office staff are always kind and super helpful! Downsides - If you live close enough to the restaurants, you can sometimes hear what’s going on down below, but it’s easy to drown out with the tv. They also recently installed speed bumps around the building, which is good for safety, but they’re really high and thin & it seems like they’ll ruin your tires no matter how slow you drive over them. Overall it’s been a good place to live so far!

Don’t rent from here. The apartments themselves are fine, but issues with parking have become unbearable. Sure, maintenance is consistently slow to respond, but the real problem is the parking garage situation -- it's gone from bad to worse ever since the two restaurants opened in front of the building. Now, the garage is often packed with restaurant customers, who take up the spaces originally meant for residents and careen around the tightly packed, low visibility parking lot like clueless idiots.

I'm not exactly sure why there are any restaurant customers, considering the restaurants serve subpar food (I ended up spending the night with the toilet after eating at one, but that's a separate review).

Tenants are now forced to park on the upper levels of the garage, far from your floor and entrance, making it a hassle every time you come home. Try carrying bags of groceries an extra 150 feet from your car to your apartment building when it's already a significant walk to get to your apartment.

The property management team clearly cares more about accommodating the restaurant customers than the people who are unfortunate to pay thousands of dollars a month to live here.

It’s frustrating that they haven’t done anything to restrict restaurant customers from taking up the whole parking garage. They should be forced to park in the spots allocated in front of the restaurants.

It’s clear that the apartment complex failed to plan for this situation and is now scrambling to make it work, but in doing so, they’ve created a worse living environment for tenants. Now we all suffer.

Avoid this place if you value your time, your sanity, and a reasonable parking spot.

Property management only pays lip service to complaints and constructive feedback, ultimately doing nothing to address it. So don't be fooled by the encouraging responses they've been posting to address all the negative reviews. Stop being sorry. Fix things.

Management has been asking residents to leave a review to be entered into a raffle, so I thought I’d leave my honest thoughts.

The apartments themselves are nice, no issues! I love where I’m at. It wasn’t cleaned the greatest when I moved in, but that’s fine. Maintenance has also always been quick.

However, what I’ve subtly learned while living here is that these apartment buildings are seen as an INVESTMENT opportunity. My hypothesis. Nothing is wrong with this, we all have to make money, but it’s so obvious–management is purely here to fill units.

Observations:

**The 6th floor clubhouse was a KEY part of the building tour given by the leasing agent. I’ll admit, besides the sterile T.J. Maxx corporate-style look, it’s nice! ā€œImagine how much work you can get done up here! Look at this view!ā€ Again, this was a key part of the presentation. The problem, I soon found out, is that during the Winter they never turn the heat on. If it is on, it’s set below 65. The thermostat is covered in plastic under lock and key. With this, on the beautiful outdoor patio, there are super nice outdoor fire pits–only, it seems they don’t want to spend the money on propane tanks! So they’re useless. Again, you don’t discover this until you try to use them. I’ve talked to other tenants that have expressed similar thoughts / confusion.

**Management has been putting on a lot of events lately. Nacho Wednesday, a cookie decorating contest, Oktoberfest, pool party, etc. They’re really, really good about hyping these events up but MAN… you can tell that love isn’t put into any of it. There’s no heart. It feels cold. The presentation is depressing. This isn’t a problem, it’s not why we live here, but it makes you wonder WHY they put these events on. If you’re going to put on an event to bring together the entire community, go all out–and I mean ALL OUT. Don’t look at throwing events as an expense or obligation because tenants can FEEL that. This isn’t localized to just me.

**Key fobs have a lot of issues. If you’re unable to get into your unit, you just have to hope that management hasn’t gone home yet so they can let you in. They’ve been good about this.

**You will get A LOT of emails from management. If there’s someone living here that’s making too much noise, a mass email will go out to EVERYBODY saying that there are noise complaints and it’s a violation of the lease agreement. Instead of confronting the tenant making the noise, management takes easy-street and tells everybody to pipe down over email–and you’re left wondering if you’re the one making noise.

Again, I want to reiterate–I’ve LOVED living here. I love my apartment. I just hope by sharing these observations, management will get some insight into how they can improve.

I think there is so much value in making sure the people living here are extremely happy and can see that YOU CARE, you genuinely care. You’re here for more than just a paycheck. There’s a level of passion behind what you do.

Tenant happiness spills over into tenant RETENTION, higher odds of renewing here AND referring people! The ā€œReferral Raffleā€ is just a short-term gimmick.

WH is a great place to live. Units are large and well appointed. Location is great. Gym is excellent. And staff is very responsive. And it’s quiet.

During scheduled move in time they were painting my apartment even though it had been sitting empty for a month because the contractor they had come the night before did a bad job and did not give any warning they I would not be able to move in at assigned time, and the repaint was worse then the original paint job that had been done while I was moving in there were 5 people standing in my apartment while only 1 was actually painting. Along with that electrical ports and ethernet ports not working will not be fixed under maintenance because "how would they know that they don't work." Overall dealing with the "boss" of the leasing office will never get you anywhere.

The first apartment I moved in had roaches. It’s a bunch of foreigners I’m not racist, but they are!!!!. I also live on the bottom floor and my neighbors bump and jump all day long and night I moved in December 16 and I’m already looking for another place to go… Hope this helps if anyone is thinking about moving here
