I brought my Field van if for some upgrades with Sierra Adventure Vehicles (SAV). My friend highly recommended them and I met with their team at the van show last summer held at Palisades in Tahoe. I already had a top quality van and needed a top quality team to make it even better. I added the Agile Offroad Big Brake kit front and back (what a big difference!!!), Agile skid plates all around, Agile stronger shock mounts, Agile brake line protectors, ARB Onboard Air with all if the SAV accessories (makes it so easy and fast!!!), New Toyo AT3's (So much quieter my BFG's and super great off-road/snow!!!). Everything works perfectly and made my great van move twards bad ass. A big thanks to Mike and his team!

These guys know their stuff really well. The work they do is not cheap but the quality of work matches their pricing and they do it right the first time. I've gone back to their shop a handful of times to have my van worked on and I'll happily go back whenever I need something else. They've removed all my old propane parts, upgraded my power system, installed an Espar heater, installed an induction stove top and fixed my water lines and everything is working perfectly. TJ and his team are seriously the best to do it!

I recently had my 2023 Thor Omni Super C XG32 upgraded with a Victron 600Ah complete power system, expertly installed by Sierra Adventure Vehicles in Truckee, California. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional, with TJ handling the planning and Matt performing the installation—both were a pleasure to work with. Matt even went the extra mile to properly align my LED headlights (a task I attempted but didn’t get quite right) and installed a generator receptacle so I could power my house in case of an outage.

Real-World Performance Test
To put the system through its paces, we took a shakeout trip to Raging Bull Vineyard, staying overnight as a Harvest Host guest. The temperatures dropped to 31°F, and the goal was to avoid using the generator while not making an effort to conserve power.

-Heater set to 70°F

-Heat turned down to 60°F
-Residential refrigerator running
-Radio left on

✔️ Morning Power Consumption

-Breakfast: Electric skillet & toaster (worked flawlessly!)

By the time we were ready to leave, we had only used about 40% of the battery capacity! This level of efficiency would have been impossible without this upgrade.

Fast Recharge & Future Enhancements
On the drive home, the alternator recharged the batteries to 100% in just one hour! Once Sierra Adventure Vehicles installs my 300-amp alternator, it will charge even faster. I'm particularly excited that with this setup, I’ll be able to run one air conditioner while driving—without using the generator!

Final Thoughts: Worth Every Penny
This Victron 600Ah system exceeded my expectations in every way. Sierra Adventure Vehicles did an outstanding job, and I highly recommend them for anyone looking to upgrade their RV’s electrical system. If you’re considering going off-grid without compromise, this is the way to do it!

Sierra Adventure Vehicles completely updated my Bronco. They do amazing work. After their upgrades, the level 5 Razzle Dazzle run at Sand Hollow in Southern Utah was too easy. The 37s float over everything without effort. The suspension is like I’m riding a soothing ocean wave. Love all their work.

What did they do? Upgraded suspension with King 2.5 Coilovers with Remote Reservoirs, Compression Adjusters and UCAs in the front, King 2.5 Rear Shocks with Remote Reservoirs, Compression Adjusters and LCAs in the rear, 74Weld Cap & Bushing Kit, Apex Chassis Bronco Tie Rod Kit, new 37 tires and wheels, upgraded Expedition One steel rear bumper in entirety with spare tire carrier, rear winch, AWE exhaust relocated, switch pro 12 switch panel. Whatever project you have, whatever off-road vehicle, they can do it, and do it properly.

Come out from the Bay Area to get work done. The drive is worth the great quality work the team does. Customer service is awesome. Had the team fix my broken step. Install suspension, Storyteller overland warranty work, and install a bumper and winch. Also 1 of the few shops that can do alignments on sprinter vans.
