We had a great experience working with Camille and her team on our recent Tahoe Donner home sale. Camille went above and beyond to help us prepare our house for marketing, getting it on the market and holding open houses, and ultimately receiving offers and concluding the sale, all within a 2-month period! She is extremely professional, responsive, and communicative, and always ready to step up and get things done. Camille is well-connected to all industry professionals and is the point person when managing inspections, repairs, staging, etc. She has a great team working with her, but she is the person who picks up the phone and answers your questions. From making sure all documents are in order, to sweeping the deck before an open house, if needed. Camille takes care of her clients and makes the selling or buying of your home an easy, pleasurable, and professional experience.

I am a writer. I’m also a public speaker. Words are my “thing,” so imagine my frustration in taking two months to find the words to write this review. Occasionally, like experiencing a beautiful sunset, all you can say is “Wow!” That is where I have been for the last two months as I tried to figure out how to write a review for Camille Duvall.

Camille was referred to us when our vacation home in Truckee needed to be sold because of the sudden loss of our dear friend and co-owner. We were heartbroken over it, and for two years tried to figure out a way to keep the house. Unfortunately, everything we personally tried fell through, and we cried the day Camille came to help us put it on the market.

Now, please follow the story here because it’s important to understand what Camille did for us and is testament to her remarkable character. We were about two years away from financially being able to buy our friend’s family out of their portion, but they couldn’t wait any longer. So, while we were getting ready to put the house on the market, Camille, noticing that we were heartbroken about having to sell our home of 22 years, sought to comfort us and took us around, showing us that there were other houses out there in our “two-years-down-the- road” market. Financially, this means that for any other agent, there was an immediate 100% sale of the current house, and future revenue for our next house. However, being the upstanding, kind, and honorable person she is, Camille came up with a solution for us—but at a substantial financial hit for her.
Camille is the one who suggested that she try to find another 50% partner for the house. She worked TIRELESSLY to make it happen for us. She answered constant phone calls, navigated unknown territory, and fought relentlessly to make OUR dreams come true. Camille was speaking with people about us and our home while the house was getting ready for market, and because of her wide-reaching network, we had an offer for 50% ownership with a lovely family within days of it being listed. Do the math and you will see that because Camille chose to make OUR interests her responsibility as a realtor, she took commission on 1/2 of a house sale as opposed to two full house sales. Who do you know who would do that, and for people she just met!?!

We closed two months ago, and Camille still followed up with us, making sure everything was okay, confirming we received closing documents, and generally checked in. At this point, we have changed our phone contact from Camille Duvall: Realtor, to Camille: Friend. We cannot recommend her highly enough. If you are ever looking for a realtor who is professional, knowledgeable, and resourceful who also has YOUR best interests at heart, give her a call. She’ll become YOUR amazing realtor, and she may just become your new friend too! Prepare to be WOWED!
