They are worst at returning your deposit back, i have lived in the house for 2 yrs. Never ever late on rent. When i got the house i had to get it cleaned out, and when i vacant the place it was cleaned out by professionals but still they are charging me for cleaning the house, i have the pictures before handing out the keys. Now it been over 2 months they still haven’t return my remaining deposit. they don’t respond to any of the emails if we call in they just wanna hang up the phone right away and their excuse is always the owner will send me the check. Well I was paying the rent to J Johnson property management and they were collecting all the rents now when it comes to returning the money, their excuses, the owner will return the money but it is J Johnson property management responsibility to give me that deposit back since I paid them

My application fee's were stolen from me by this company.
I applied to a house for rent that was taken off market without a clear explanation. I spoke with this company via email and requested to be reimbursed and they agreed. This was July 26th 2024 it is now Sep 12 2024 and I've called and sent follow up emails and still haven't received my refund. I'd like people to know how companies treat people when it is not in their benefit to do the right thing. Lack of follow up and completion of what you agreed to is inappropriate. Now I'll have to attempt to dispute with Credit Card Company since you guys lack the ability to do your job even though I've patiently been waiting. Based on this situation I recommend people looking for a place choose elsewhere. If I can't get a reimbursement in a timely manner what else isn't done properly.

What property management company will let you pay 5600 dollars and and hand you the keys to a house without working air conditioning? Jjohnson will! I am blown away by the absurd lack of professionalism with this company. They list property as "available now", get you roped in then tell you it'll be 3 weeks before you can move in.. to a house with loose ceiling fans, dangling phone jacks, and no air conditioning.. when it's 100 degrees outside. Unbelievable.

They have been nothing but unprepared throughout the entirety of this process, and frankly rude while they're at it. It isnt my fault you failed to coordinate with me. "We tried to call you" "our coordinator reached out"

I gave you my desk and cell number, but I have no missed calls, no texts, no emails, no nothing. I will NEVER do business with this company again. Embarrassing

I have worked closely with them for the last year, Des the property Manager and Mary in the service department are very knowledgeable and absolute pleasure to work with when I have questions or issues arise. I've worked with several property management companies over the last 20 years, but J. Johnson Property Management is by far THE BEST! Whenever I have issues they are quick to respond, and if anything is needed, they handle it right away! When my heater broke down during an awful winter freeze they were able to get someone over to my house that afternoon and my unit was repaired ASAP. They also helped me find a new tenant for my rental! Their staff is friendly and professional, and I couldn't be happier with their services.

I’ve used property mgmt companies for nearly 10 years and this is by far the worst company I’ve employed. They are incredibly unorganized and unresponsive to my tenants- which ultimately resulted in lease termination. I even had fees in excess of $500 that were accidentally charged twice from pest services and they gladly just passed them right through to me. Still haven’t seen the refund and I don’t expect I will. Fired after 1 year and only that long because I was under contract. Perhaps if they spent the time and energy they do trying to request people leave them positive reviews online, ironically, maybe they’d have a few.

When speaking with Jennifer she listened to what I wanted and what my situation was and her and her team helped get my home on the market and up for rent. They have been very professional and honest with me the whole way through and got the process going immediately and have provided good service. I will continue to do business with J.
