My experience with Mr. McCosker was some time ago and I thought about reporting him to the CA Board of Realtors but just never did. I decided to just get on with life. He was great about finding me a small cottage in Summerland but referred me to Five Star Finance who took full advantage of my recently divorced situation. I heard about a small apartment building from a friend that was about to hit the market and I was interested in buying It as an income property but shortly after I asked Scott to get more info on it he purchased it for himself! When I sold my Summerland cottage several potential buyers either stopped by my house and knocked on my door to tell me they had called my realtor several times and he was never available to show my property or left notes. I had different friends call to verify this and it was true...he always had some reason why he couldn’t show my house. I asked Scott to be present any and every time someone showed my home because I still lived there and had many things that were valuable to me in my house. Doors were left unlocked, lights left on, etc. I finally found my buyers when they stopped by while I was working in my yard one afternoon. I showed my own property and negotiated the terms yet still had to pay Mr. McCosker his commission. I do not recommend him as a listing agent.
