UNSAFE. We’ve had multiple incidents in our Valley Village apartment complex involving breaking and entering, theft, people digging through our laundry, and dudes casing people’s apartments. We have a courtyard that MLS won’t secure because according to Kinga, one of the managers, “they don’t have to.”

The only camera is owned by a resident, and when I informed management that the resident has footage of someone entering our courtyard and laundry room, MLS was uninterested. We called the cops during this incident because the man who had been in the laundry room was lurking outside our building. Since he was gone 90 minutes later when the cops actually showed up, the cops refused to write a report. They gave us their card and told us to give it to the landlords because according to those cops, they need a landlord or property manager to follow up. I called MLS when it happened and there was an answering service (it was Sunday). When I called MLS again the following afternoon it was the first they were hearing about the incident. I told them what the cop said, the guy on the phone argued with me about whether or not the cop was accurate (I’m literally just repeating the info a police officer gave me), and then he proceeded to ignore my request for them to follow up. We have the individual cop’s information, our neighbor has footage of someone in our laundry room and lurking outside, and MLS ignored all of this.

Their only solution is to give us keys to the laundry room door. No cameras. No courtyard lock. No attempt to coordinate with the officers on the scene. Keys to the laundry room. That’s how much they’ll care about your safety if you rent from them.

Looked at a condo on Zillow, I inquired about seeing the place. The lady that answered the phone was extremely unprofessional and rude. I would run far away from this company. If they already act like this when you want to see the place, can you imagine living under one of their places ? HARD PASS

I made an appointment to view an Apartment over a month ago the appointment was at 2:00 the Manager wasn't there so I left . He told me he was somewhere else after the appt was confirmed. Four Hours later the Manager said he was back at the Property so I go back , as soon as I get there he asked for Credit Check money no receipt 35.00 then proceeded to say someone else wanted the apartment. Waited in vain after multiple calls to the Office and was told the Apartment had been rented . However Paul was very informative and nice and received a call from Kinga . They should update the way they treat potential Tenants, otherwise I wouldn't advise renting from MLS in the future wouldn't recommend

BEWARE. UNPROFESSIONAL, LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.
My husband and I applied to a home through one of their agents, Kinga. Apparently, Kinga's email was hacked and all of our information from our application was made available to sed hacker. The complete lack of professionalism that Kinga showed, and by lack I mean none. No one called to let us know any status update of the fraud attempt or the application. I had to call repeatedly to get answers about what was going on. Never spoke to Kinga once. When I did reach someone, they would just say some sad excuse or that "investigation is happening" - we never got any answer on the rental application. Finally, after another call to them they said the property had been rented out. We don't even know if our application was even considered. What a waste of time and energy. Beware when working with this company. They don't seem trustworthy or that they care about tenants/potential tenants at all.

My boyfriend and I were able to find an apartment with MLS. Paul was very pleasant when we signed the papers. We have had a few small issues and Wendy has always made sure that the issues were fixed right away. The staff is friendly and very professional. I high recommend Kinga and her staff if you are looking for a place 🙂

This management company must reside in hell because they don't care about the tenants well being or safety. We have a violent restraining order against my sister's ex-fiancé who threatened the livelihood of my two year old son. The management company refuses to let us out of our lease so we can go somewhere safe. This is only the last thing they have done. From day one we walked into a house full of saw dust, nails, and paint splattered everywhere from the floors to the countertops. They promised to change the carpets and never did. They left the dirty carpet with stains and rips. When you call for maintenance they give you a 9AM-5PM window frame. They come check out the issue and always reschedule for another 9AM-5PM due to needing a part or another work order. The tenant next door had pest control come spray their house and no one was notified nor did they care to inspect any units for the same issue. They rarely ever respond to emails and treat their tenants like garbage. Speaking of garbage, they allowed the trash to build for over two weeks. Risking rats coming, maggots growing. The entire complex smelled for weeks. Maintenance stole two of my watches and a pair of my sunglasses. They’re crooks and so is their staff. They tell you to leave your light/ventilation on after a shower because the whole bathroom (even with the door open) gets so steamy and the ventilation cannot keep up. The entire house is humid because of this. The owner and the management have no mercy on their tenants and only do what is beneficial to them and only them. DO NOT HIRE THEM AND DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT THEY MANAGE!!

I moved into area last December. I moved into a unit managed by Kinga. I have had problems with management before when I need repairs, so I was apprehensive in calling in a leak in the bedroom. It was in April 2018 around 11pm., I call Kinga and she put me at ease and sent a handyman out that night to help. He was able to stop the leak and he came back the next day to make the repair. i was very happy to have Kinga there as she handled the disaster with calm and made sure i was Ok. She even stopped by in person the next day to check the work being done. Thank you for your caring services.
