Both Ashley and Rhonda do what our HOA president wants no matter the situation. They do not hold him accountable and do not look out for the homeowners. Multiple CC&Rs, Bylaws and Rules and Regulations have been broken by our board president and they have done nothing to hold him accountable. Their CAI certifications should be revoked for their actions.

Both Ashley and Michelle are so helpful and wonderful at managing our very large condo complex. They are both cheerful, excellent and professional. We are very fortunate they have chosen to work with us.

I don’t know that Rhonda actually reads requests put in by owners. Our unit was hot waterless for 2 weeks and during the two weeks, numerous emails were sent and no updates were given. She might actually be a liability to the company. It’s really scary that she is in charge of helping manage the needs of our property. There are about 10 homeowners currently documenting her errors and neglect very closely. We have spoken to numerous contractors who are assigned to do normal service calls, and an extremely common claim is that they are often left in the dark, and they have to follow up for weeks to get approval. This happened to be the case with the hot water in our unit. They gave a report to Rhonda, and had to follow up numerous times, to get approval. I’m not sure two weeks without hot water accommodates habitable living conditions.

I have had the pleasure of working with Premier Community Association Management for the past year, and I can confidently say that their services have exceeded my expectations in every way possible. As a property owner, I understand the importance of a reliable and efficient property management company, and Premier Community Association Management has truly set the bar high.

From the very beginning, their team exhibited a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and expertise.

Communication is key in property management, and Premier Community Association Management excels in this department. They respond promptly to any inquiries or concerns I have, and their accessibility is unmatched. Whether it's an urgent maintenance issue or a simple question, they are always just a phone call or email away.

If it were up to me, would I use PCAM? No

My HOA inherited PCAM because our individual property manager’s own start-up company failed after a year. That should have been a red flag, but she found a job at PCAM and off we went following her career path. I had always found her to be less than responsive in returning emails and uninformed about HOA law and our governing documents. From my perspective, that situation didn’t change when she joined PCAM at the beginning of 2024.

After three-plus months of ignored emails and legal compliance issues with our management rep now at PCAM, I contacted Rhonda Drews, a principal at PCAM, to establish a line of communication with her. In her company’s introductory letter, Ms. Drews had invited residents to contact her with concerns. I naively took her up on that offer. Big mistake.

I thought I had a nice conversation with Ms. Drews one Friday afternoon in April even though she was typing the entire time and seemed to be half listening. I even sent an email afterwards thanking her for her time. But that next Monday I received an over-the-top letter from an attorney falsely claiming I shouted at Ms. Drews and made unreasonable demands of her, among other unfounded allegations. The letter threatened to “impose discipline,” as if I were a naughty schoolchild instead of a homeowner paying PCAM’s fees.

My only sin was being critical of Ms. Drews’ employee, and Ms. Drews made sure I wasn’t going to get away with it. My conversation with Ms. Drews was on a Friday afternoon, and in the course of 72 hours (over a weekend), she found an attorney to write and send a nastygram to me. Ironically, the PCAM rep I voiced concerns about had her employment abruptly and unexpectantly terminated soon after I received the attorney letter.

Did I receive a retraction or an apology? No

Rhonda has done a wonderful job in managing our HOA in La Quinta over the last six months. She is very responsive and took on our 14 homes with less than a month's notice out of the blue from our previous property management company. She is always professional in dealing with her customers and clients, and we thank her for the services we received.

Rhonda is the most poorly organized manager I’ve ever communicated with. I assure you this is not harsh, and I’m not a disgruntled retiree complaining about nothing.

She lost paperwork, and had zero knowledge of an emergency flood that happened in the unit above mine, it took me 2 weeks to get the owner contact info- and my roof collapsed in. As the flood was happening she didn’t know how to get the water turned off so thousands of gallons of water were apparently poured into the unit above me for about an hour. NONE of this on record, even though she sent me an email stating that there was an emergency water shutoff needed in my building due to the unit above mine prior.

We were notified a week prior to them shutting our ac off for “24-48 hours” at the 60th hour we got an update saying it would be 5 days.

The list goes on- but overall, poor communication skills, inadequate organization, lacks Managment ability, and a complete liability.

Do not use this company.

This company was hired by my HOA this year. They do not have the courtesy to respond to emails even when they were the ones who requested that documents and forms be completed and sent to them. Communication is one sided as they constantly send emails with requests and expectations, but refuse to respond to any emails that are sent to them.
