Rented a home with them for a year and their leasing office is pretty responsive through email during their regular hours. Helped me sign a lease on a new apartment on really short notice and got the ball rolling pretty quickly. Maintenance requests are responded to in a quickly manner as well.

Do not apply to them. My credit was not the best I can say but my Partner and her sister, had really good credit scores and they were asking me to give them $10,500 to pay for six months of rent upfront and if not that then they suggested that I don’t get on the lease but my partner and her sister would have to make 3x the rent by themselves not only that but the deposit and first months rent and pet deposit was already $5,685 all the cost would be $16,185 upfront we decided to decline that offer it did not sound right to us. I would not recommend applying if you don’t have the best credit my credit was 543 my partner was 663 and her sister was 655 . Just be careful hopefully this helps someone.

After reading reviews of Locale Residential I was leery of renting from them. Houses were in short supply after the Paradise fire. I viewed the house I now live in and loved it. The agent, Laura, was very accommodating and helpful. She made the move in process so easy. Always available for my questions.
I have now been here for a year and a half (1833 Devonshire) and am still impressed by the response I always get when there is an issue. Every need is taken care of in a timely manner!
I’ve been meaning to write a review for some time now. Thank you Locale, and Laurie, for being the perfect property management company. I highly recommend them for a tenant or owner wanting a professional management company!

Rented from Locale Residential for 2 years. Their customer service is atrocious.

No one EVER picks up their phone line. It can take weeks to get a response on their portal.

I scheduled my final walk through to move out. The appointment was confirmed by a Laura Fischer. I’m writing this over an hour after the agreed upon time - still no call, no update - she no-showed. Drove 2 hours for this appointment. Unbelievably unprofessional. 10 calls, multiple emails, not a word back.

I have only lived here 18 months, but have to say they were really good about taking care of any maintenence issues we had in a timely manner. The outside of the building was kept up too. If there was any negative, it would have to be our rent was raised twice while we lived there. And it was a $100 each time.

This company has been wonderful to work with. Their newer apartments are beautiful and well maintained. They aren't easily accessible by phone, however their renter portal that they use is excellent, and they are quick and responsive to requests submitted through it! Their staff is super helpful and friendly as well. They've been a joy to work with so far!
