Bernie is from a long time Tahoe family, as am I. I have known Bernie since 1993 as well as his family. In the summer of 2018, we began to investigate getting our own place in Tahoe. My family's home was getting smaller and somewhat crowded as we expanded our family with two kids. That summer, we were somewhat "kicking the tires" on a few properties. Bernie was so patient and kept sending us new listings that fit our needs. I have to say we weren't really serious about a purchase until the following summer of 2019 and he located our dream place that gives us all the things we enjoy - space, hiking, biking, boating, etc. The lending process was a struggle to no fault of Bernie. In fact, he actually connected us with a local lender and helped with the transaction. Constantly in contact with the selling agent who was also very patient and understanding of the situation, Bernie worked relentlessly to put us in our new second home. He truly offered us concierge type service, being at every inspection for us, attending to and being there for contractors who were doing some of the needed repairs and ever being communicative with us through the process. Although I have lots of local knowledge, I can't express enough how finding a realtor with Bernie's history and knowledge of the lake and its neighborhoods is such a benefit. Plus he handled the transaction immaculately once we were in contract. I would refer Bernie to anyone and everyone who is interested in finding their next home. Thanks again Bern!!!
