It is an absolute pleasure working with Paul Lopez at property sourced and his team. I had the pleasure to work with Paul and meet him in person. The one thing that stood out right away was that he extended a hand further and met with me at my property. I bought my house 10 years ago and lived in it until I moved away with my partner. I went back and forth between selling and landed on trying my hand at being a landlord. I had no clue where to start so I tried a local well known PM company who had a good reputation. Unfortunately they weren't staffed to handle a pipe leak that occurred leaving my home empty for 9+ months and tens of thousands of dollars of loss. Next, I found a smaller scale PM since I figured I was in the clear for large issues. It also didn't work out and I was disheartened about my choice to rent out my property. Terrible experience as a tenant. I’ve never left a negative review about any property management company for anywhere I have lived. We left the property we rented in mint condition and upon moving out they kept over $800 of our security deposit. Over half of that was for painting “touch ups” which is pretty ridiculous considering it was a brand new house when we moved in and we even filled in any holes with putty when we moved out. Avoid renting any properties they manage if possible. And I’ve owned rental properties myself and know what’s considered reasonable to charge for, and this was not it.
