Worst landlords we’ve ever had lied and told us the place hasn’t flooded in the 20 years they’ve owned it within 5 days of being there everything we own was ruined. Mold was in the walls and cabinets when we moved in with our infant child. He told me he didn’t clean it after the last tenant so I’d have to clean it bc he’d “never met a woman that doesn’t clean a house when they move in”. Thete was dead nice in the cabinets and dirt everywhere. He agreed to give us all our money back if we packed and moved so he could “move someone else in that wouldn’t complain about the mold” when we went to give him the keys he came in a threatening manner with his large dog while I had my infant with me and refused to give us all our money back so he could “clean the mess we made” even tho the mess was from the flood that was his job to clean and he refused to.

Currently have a roach infestation writing a physical note that will be turned in with rent this month told them in person months ago of the problem with no solution provided. Then will have it figured out myself and taken from rent..
