My experience with Bartels Property Management has been all positive and stress-free. Lynettte came over to check out my rental property, explained the process, answered every question we asked, took pictures and within a few days my rental property was posted on several online sites. Two weeks later the property was rented. Lynette is very informative and upfront. She and/or Sonia are great at communicating and have always returned our calls / emails in a timely manner.

Bartels handles the contract, collecting the rent and any issues that may occur. They are knowledgeable and updated on all the tenant / landlord laws which makes life a lot easier for me.

I would recommend Bartels Property Management to anyone looking for a trustworthy property management company.

Communication between the desk assistant and property manager and landlord and repair services one might need is very poor. I called about a leak coming from my upstairs neighbors that was not completely fixed in over a year, instead repair men came into my apartment and looked at it a bit, did some pipe work upstairs but the leak continued. A neighbor from the Bartels apartment building I lived at also harassed me and my pregnant wife and for some reason the property manager decided to take a side in my dispute with my neighbor when. I was the one who had their door slammed by some visitors who weren't even supposed to be at the apartments. Be careful choosing renting from Bartels, because if things ever go wrong in your unit you might realize you made a mistake too late. Good luck everyone.

So it's been more than 10 days since I paid the ridiculous non refundable application fee and submitted the application and I haven't heard back from them. First of all who takes 2 weeks to process and approve a application that's unheard and unprofessional I should have known from all the other reviews not to trust them. And don't run my credit First unless everything else has checked out and I'm seriously being considered a potential tenant now I got this fraudulent tenant screening on my credit history page for God knows how long unbelievable and unprofessional......get it together bartels pls & ty.

Bartels property management is the best property management company.. I've been renting from them for 1 year now and they're very professional and extremely nice to deal with.. when ever I had a problem right away they were able to handle the problem quick and in a timely matter. I had a plumbing problem I reported and real quick they were able to have a plumber come out and fix it, one time during the winter a tree fell down the next day they had it token care of.. Probably the worst experience. The ladies working there are rude, lack customer service and knowledge. They are not thorough with the process. People are serious inquiring on properties. We applied for a location, provided all the required documentation within a day if viewing the property. She reviewed our application and said “it should not take too long you guys qualify, we just need to run the credit” mind you, both my husband and myself have good credit. I received a notification via my credit monitor app that they ran my credit that same day. days passed my husband called in and they said it would take 10 business days because they had 8 other applicants? Days later.. We receive a call that our application was “declined” then she switched her wording and said the landlord did not “choose” our application. So we met all requirements we were just not “chosen”. How are they running numerous credits, charging application fees and not informing clients there could potentially be several people applying after you, and maybe one of them will get chosen over your application. Very disappointing that there are qualifying applicants but it’s not first come first serve basis. Highly unfair and disappointing. Such a scam!!!!

These people are so rude!! I called regarding one of their listing and the lady I spoke with said she needed to send me a form to sign due to COVID-19 before I could see the place. Completely fine, as I understand this is a crazy time to be looking at places. However, she could not figure out how to send the docusign document. It kept saying it was expired. Finally she sent it via emial and I sent it back right away. No response from the management company. I called left a message still no response. I called again and spoke to Sivana and told her I had sent the document and have not had a response. She then rudely yelled at me stating I needed to call and make an appointment. Which I told her I had called and left a message and that I am calling again now. She never apologized and stated that they are very busy and can not call everyone back as they were only working 9-3 and they were to overwhelmed. She was very rude stating that I had missed my chance to look at that house because they have to much activity on that particular one. But, that I can look at the web-site and choose something else or call back next week to schedule a time to look at the unit I am interested in. I will definitely not call back nor will I use this company. I can only imagine how they treat their renters.

I've worked with Bartel's now for 4 years and have had a great experience. They are very professional and responsive managing properties for me. They have an excellent group that works well together. I have worked with many other agencies here and in other areas and must say that Bartels is fantastic!

DO NOT USE BARTELS. These people are theives. They posted a home for rent, my wife and I applied we were quilfied at three other property managment bussiness. Bartels told us we would have an answer in ten days and that we were good to go. We waited three weeks and we never herd back from them. I went there in person, and just got the run around. They took our app fee, and never offered to find us some other place to rent. When I asked they told me to leave. That they could not help us anymore. DO NOT USE BARTELS. They will rip you off.
