Please do not rent from Paloma. You're nothing but a rental check to them. I lived in Palm Court for a short time due to the neighborhood and neighbors in the community. I dealt with neighbors that would be drugged and liqoured up, called racial slurs, and act out so badly had to call the cops one night at 2 am. Ever since then I could not feel comfortable living in my unit which I pay quite some money for. As a single woman I was sleep deprived, baracding my door, staying inside my unit to avoid neighbors and any conflict but it's impossible. Did Paloma care..... absolutely not. I'm quite positive the neighbors I reported did not see any repercussions so with that being said they'll get anyone to move into the unit. Ask about the neighbors when touring and about safety. The parking is a nightmare. Anytime after 7 you're going to have walk far to get back to the building and possible across the park which is completely not safe. My head was on swivel every time the sun went down and i had to park across the way on the other side of the park. The ground floors also have an insect problem. As someone who is OCD clean with bug spray in every corner there should be no reason why I'm killing spiders by the window every day!!! The cleaning in the common areas is so subpar it's ridiculously gross especially since the hallways are white. There is another review on Yelp where a resident outlines her experience.... Everything she says is true and should be taken seriously! The newer tenants are not happy. The ones who have been there for awhile don't care and are scaring the newer tenants. Paloma needs to do better but so does all property management companies in LB as I fear they are all the same.
