When my Mom lived here (#112) she really enjoyed it. We’d eat dinner across the street at the Beachfire 2-3x/week. Great community and kind people at Heritage. Ladera Ranch is also pretty awesome.

Very happy with my decision to move here this year! The leasing staff has been very professional, delivering on what they promised from my initial call! Emma, Carla, Rafael and Genny are very engaging and seem eager to help... whatever the question! I love the fact that the place is safe clean, plenty of parking and well cared for. Since I've been here they have painted the building, replaced my stove with a new upgraded one and fixed a plumbing and microwave issue immediately.

By far one of the best rental experiences we've ever had! The most welcoming, polite, helpful, transparent, and professional staff that we have ever encountered. Thank you Genny, Nicole, and Carla, for providing the peace of mind that we've been looking for. In regards to the apartments and the complex as a whole, everything is very clean and well maintained. Great amenities. The maintenance folks are responsive and provide timely services. Very friendly tenants with diverse backgrounds. Always plenty of parking.

My father-in-law has lived in Heritage Square for almost a year (after moving from his home in Oregon to live less than a mile from to us in Ladera Ranch.)
The building is immaculately clean and quiet.
The staff is outstanding.
We are most happy with his new home.

My wife and I have lived here for 2 years and for the most part it has been a very pleasant place to live. Office staff is very friendly and helpful as is the maintenance crew. I do have one issue though, when we were investigating this place to see if it would work for us one of the questions I asked was if it was a Smoke Free Complex and I was told that it was . About a year ago I walked out into my hallway to go downstairs and was hit with a heavy smell of cigarettes. I walked around a corner from my apartment and one of the new tenants had her door open with a fan blowing her cigarette smoke out of her apartment into the hallway. I reported this to the manager immediately and was assured that this was a Non Smoking Complex and it would be addressed. Well the smoke situation is back though the tenant is doing it with her door closed now so I contacted the office again and this time was told that it is okay to smoke in the apartment with the door closed. I have respiratory issues and this is a problem for me. Had I been told that this place allowed smoking we would not have rented here . Sad thing is I just signed a new lease for another year . Someone needs to get the story straight here .

These are lousy apartments, extremely noisy, police are always coming due to heavy fighting in some apartments, way too many inspections, just about every month, this is afterall a senior apartment, not at all what I expected, they are turning off the water in the entire complex to install new water meters, surely there should be a better way to install new water meters and not have to put up with all this nonsense. Manager is at another location, no one ever manages this location, all kinds of things go on and no one to manage, people in the office only say they will advise the manager at the other location to which NOTHING is EVER done. They leave notes on your door giving you 24 hour notice to come into your apartment to inspect whatever and they come in whether you are there or not. What a lousy unfriendly place, would NEVER recommend this place. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on you Western National Property Management for doing such a lousy job with Heritage Square Apartments, your office staff is worthless!!!

I took my friend to these apartments to which she rented one apartment, but a better and larger one became available so she rented that one, hadn't even really moved in the smaller one and this terrible not friendly and somewhat dirty place charged her out of her $600.00 deposit on the smaller one all but about $150.00, said the carpets were dirty, SHAME on these people, when we first went there they were very nice, but once moved in WOW what a different place, they are unbelievably noisy, around the premises it is always not kept up, they continue to water the premises on a regular basis to which everyone have to pay while there is a drought going on. Manager is phony, only been there not quite a year and so so sorry she moved in, what a sneaky way to lure people into renting this place, this is no way to treat seniors, certainly would never suggest this place to anyone.
