Me & my brother looked here & we absolutely loved the environment here. Laurie in the leasing office helped us the whole way through our application and was so to kind to answer the many questions we had about the apartment complex. She was very accommodating to our schedules and worked with us to get things going quicker on our application. We just got approved today and did our walk through. The apartment wasn't left the cleanest but it still looked amazing! Very modern but still super affordable which I love! Only downfall was having spectrum as the service provider which I'm not too fond of. Wish they had Race but it'll do. Anywho, love my new apartment!

We rented there for one year agreement ending February 28, 2025 but circumstances made us leave on January 6th,2025. Even though we gave 60 day vacate notice we had to pay for whole lease period to close the account. So be careful renting this place. The place is okay but not well maintained. Sinks corroded and chipped no hood exhaust. Pantry oil soaked and some kind of tar paint inside. Always dirty under stairs lots of spiders.

Yes, you responded to all the issues but you never fixed them. You sent guys out just to check a box and say that you were there.

In general, I’m super reasonable with this stuff but I just want to save you the headache from staying here.

Firstly it looks like they deleted all the negative reviews.

Please don’t move here… I genuinely mean it. We lived here for 2 years in 2 different apartments and will say DO NOT MOVE INTO APT 43305 G23!!

I’m just going to list all the issues we had in our apt all within the first month.

-Takes over a month to be approved and they are in no rush.
-All the pools are closed
-Stains in the draws.
-No light in the living room or second bedroom and when I asked they told me to just buy a lamp.
-We had mold under our sink.
-All 3 bathrooms had leaks.
-Poor patched up walls.
-Dirty dirty dirty apartment but they charge you a $100 cleaning fee.
-Our AC never worked. We called and they came with a thermometer, held it up to the air vent and told us it was blowing cold air. Out electric bill was over $700 every month for a 2 bed. The AC also had vents covered to try get air in other areas, so they knew it was an issue.
-You will get changed $100 a month for trash even if you use it once a week or everyday.
-Bri in the main office is incredibly rude and unpleasant to deal with.
-It seems to have changed but if I called it would take over 10 calls to get through to them.
-Our cabinets were unfinished and had water stains all over them.
-Our burner never worked
-The blinds were broken and kept falling off and when we asked for them to fix the, they were going to charge us.
-Draws were so old they would just fall out when opened.
-No lights in the stop overhead nor did the fan work.
-They have community laundry room but they are DIRTY and not taken care of. We had multiple homeless people in there and other items people yelling etc.
-The community has a ton of people always fighting and yelling where I personally felt unsafe most of the time.
-the gym has 5 or 6 treadmills and to not one works. The rest of the machines are broken as well.
-They also have the rule of no stuff on your balcony but it is not in forced so they all have so much stuff on them.

All I can say is this place is terrible! Year. 2 years we stayed there and they SUCKED. Wish we had moved sooner.
Trust me, not worth the price they offer.

And to the owners, don’t even bother telling em to email you guys because on my last review, you tell me to and never responded 🙂

FALSE REVIEWS!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
A little over a year ago, this place had 1.5 stars, of REAL reviews, and i only moved here because it was the only place i could afford at the time. Property management is nice, and they try to get you in as quick as possible, like any other place. But beware the management had changed twice during the short time i lived here, and they’ve clearly deleted all their reviews from the past 7 years.
They don’t let you see your unit until you’ve already signed the lease, and when we moved in there was dried paint dripped all over the floor we had to scrape off (not a big deal). But after walking around a little more we found mold around the tub that had been painted over and was sinking into the wall, the washer and dryer connections corroded, and not a single door could close because the hinges were horribly installed. Maintenance came and looked at these things and never fixed these issues, and my boyfriend fixed the doors.
Maintenance also takes forever to respond, and if they ever do come, they come on a day where you’re at work and then abandon the work order because you weren’t there so you have to make a new one.
Our AC unit was leaking and not blowing cold right when it started to get hot in the summer, after a month and a half of back and forth, taking days off work just trying to get maintenance to come, my boyfriend ended up asking them to leave the door unlocked to the HVAC unit, bought a new condensate line himself and fixed the problem. We had cold air, and they never even followed back up.
There is CONSTANT CRIME and the one security guard does not cover enough ground! Domestic violence reports, cars stolen, shootings, homeless walking through the complex and into the pool areas to shoot up and YOU have to call someone to have them removed, gang VANDALISM on the TREES!!! (and to fix that, they just spray paint the tee some more.)
I had guests over with their 4 month old baby during the holidays, one morning while in the living room we heard our neighbors across the way start to get into an argument, one of my friends went to go look out the window and i told her it’d be smart to stay back because people are quick to pop off out here, and not even 10 seconds later, there was a literal shootout between two people 200ft from my window. Another neighbors car got hit with the bullets and had to be towed, and sheriffs had the entire section blocked off for 3 hours while they took reports. Yeah, once the yellow tape dropped, my friends didn’t stay, and i don’t blame them, but that unfortunately wasn’t the last time I saw those other tenants.
Lastly, the separate “laundry rooms” that are offered, are units rented out by a separate company. One day, some young men went in there and vandalized the machines and lights, and for 8 months after numerous tenant reports, it remained unfixed and unusable. door busted open, lights ripped down swinging from the ceiling. It made more sense for us to go to the laundromat than use our designated laundry spaces, or wait on them to fix the connections in our unit. I could go on, and on, and on. It’s not safe, it’s unkempt, it’s NOT WORTH IT. I should’ve listened to my friends that had lived here before me, ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

Worst decision I ever made. Don’t sign a lease at these apartments. My car was stolen three times from the parking lot meanwhile security was no where to be found. My heater was not working for two months in the winter and the only reason it was fixed was because I called the office everyday. After this I told the office I was moving because of no heat in the apartment and they slapped me with a move out early fee even though legally I could cancel the lease due to no heat on the apartment. The office doesn’t care about anyone that lives there all they care about is the money. The entry gate never work. This place is a joke and should be shut down.

Just went to sunset ridge apartments to see if I’d be interested in moving in, I had a lot of questions if this would be the right place for me. I went in and was met with Laurie Bean at the front office. Laurie had answers to all my questions and made me feel comfortable, she was very friendly, very professional. I appreciate all of her help, she made me feel very excited about moving in!! She was absolutely great! I recommend going and speaking with her if you are interested in moving in.
