Outstanding Service at Honda Irvine!

I had an exceptional experience at Honda Irvine, thanks to Sean (Service Manager) and Brandon (Service Supervisor). From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle was taken care of with professionalism and efficiency.

Sean runs the service department with incredible leadership, ensuring that every customer receives top-notch care. He took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I understood the service recommendations without any pressure. His honesty and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable.

Brandon was equally fantastic, knowledgeable, patient, and detail-oriented. He kept me updated throughout the process and ensured that my car was serviced promptly and correctly. His friendly attitude and willingness to go the extra mile made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.

The service advisor I dealt with was polite and professional. However, the service department absolutely ruined my car!

It started when I got a call from the dealership offering an oil change and a routine check-up. I booked a pre-appointment and brought my car in. Despite having an appointment, the process took far too long, but I tolerated it since they provided a waiting area.

When I finally received my car, the report stated that everything was fine except for the air filters and tires, which they recommended replacing. I decided to address that during my next visit because I had already spent too much time there.

Then the nightmare began. On my drive home, warning lights and sounds started going off like crazy. It wouldn’t stop. I immediately tried to contact the service advisor at the number we had been communicating on during the service, but he completely ignored me. I called, I sent videos of the issue—no response at all.

After days of being ignored, I had no choice but to return to the service department. I told them that they ruined my car and demanded they fix it. Initially, they had the audacity to ask me to pay $160 just to check their own mistake! I refused, and they eventually agreed to look at it without charging me.

But it didn’t stop there. After waiting nearly FOUR hours, they came back to tell me I’d need to pay $3,500 to fix the problem. They outright refused to take responsibility and claimed they wouldn’t fix it.

I asked to speak to the manager, and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with anyone in a position of authority. This manager was rude, unprofessional, and completely irresponsible. He kept me waiting outside his office for ages while he did nothing. When he finally emerged, he called my name and said, “Come here,” in the most disrespectful tone imaginable.

I stayed calm and went towards his office, but it was clear he didn’t care about solving the issue. His mind was made up, and he smugly told me, “We will not fix it, and whatever you want to do, go and do it.” He even gave me a nasty look when I tried to explain what had happened.

When I reminded him that they couldn’t just walk away from this without any accountability, he coldly repeated himself and shut me down.

I informed him that I’d pursue legal action. I also tried contacting the dealership’s head office, but they’ve been just as useless and haven’t gotten back to me.

This dealership completely ruined my car and then left me to deal with the damage on my own.

Went in for a regular oil change and tire rotation part of the two years 24,000 mi stuff to give you take my car in pick the car up they don't reset the light the next day low tire pressure warning sensor comes on they didn't check air pressure obviously no leaks in the tires I am out of mechanic so I know the basic they didn't perform a very good job at all oil change in and out that's it

After going to a different Brand of car dealer a few times this week, I needed to come back and compliment the sales experience here. I leased an accord here that was so easy. We test drove the car then negotiated on the phone and text. I was able to have all the paperwork ready to go when I came back. Took 20 minutes to finalize the lease.
Completely transparent and honest.
Unfortunately, I went to Nissan and had an incredibly disrespectful experience that gives car buying the bad reputation. I would go back to norm reeves Honda

This is so so overdue. Went here in March 2023 with university friend, we we're visiting SoCal and decided on a spur to test drive the new Accord (at the time new gen). Really wish I remembered the name of the man who helped us, toured us around, cause that was S+ tier service. Got us the test drive, talked to us with passion and love for the same car world we loved. I have quite literally Never experienced a more laid back and incredible time just looking at a car. He didn't treat us like wallets, upsell us, and was authentic. I was in SF with my friend, since then its been a hot minute, searching for a new car, and back home. If this dealership was here in my city of Denver, I would be buying specifically for the fact that the dealer we met not only helped us look at sick new cars, but made a random spur of the moment a super fun, engaging and unforgettable memory. That is how you sell me a car, that is how you sell me service, and get me as a prospective customer and person that will recommend you to everyone in the area even up to the Bay Area. I have yet to find the same treatment here, the same courtesy, respect, mutual intrigue, and genuine care for my interests and motives at the dealership on the same tier.
