Borba has been managing my office building for the last few years or so. Our site supervisor is Leo and he has been responding to work orders and completing them very quickly. He surprised me with an excellent repainting of my office door and it looks great and I am so pleased! Very polite guy, easy to work with. Thanks Leo and Borba!

The Borba Property Group has been instrumental in helping my husband and I find a place to call home. We were in a time crunch and needed a home that was family friendly and affordable. Within days we were able to find a home, move in, and prepare for our new little family. The transition was painless.

My only catch is our neighbors. Some are amazing and some are unique but that is life.

By far the worst rental experience I’ve ever had.
From day one-
Broken tiles, cosmetic, they will not replace.
Trash in the common area in the back, a month to remove.
Received apartment absolutely filthy. $300 cleaning service just to get apartment cleaned.
Hoarding neighbors that kept all of their junk in common area. Contacted BORBA with no response or action for 2 years.
Broken blinds and windows.
Only had on fully functioning window. We asked several times to have new windows installed but instead just kept stringing us along.
Hired inexperienced and cheap workers to patch and paint but not actually fix the issue.
Broken light in closet for 2 years.
Ceiling caved in twice, patched and painted.
Standing water from upstairs unit, never fully repaired. We had yellow stains appear and reappear without properly being fixed.
Mold in master bedroom closet.
Constant plumbing issues.
They allowed multiple leases within one unit. The noise complaints were out of control.
The manager was nonexistent.
Such a shame, such a charming beautiful home that is poorly managed and maintained.
Do not rent from BORBA. I’ve had so many conversations with other past tenants of theirs and the sentiment is the same.

Not a good company to do business with. They will take your application fee and then not get back to you. I filled out the application to see two properties. One property I was not able to view because the lock box code was incorrect. The second property I went to view, had a locked glass door that required a key / passcode to get into the building. I tried calling property management while I was there, only to be met with an automated system that took me in circles. So it was a complete waist of my time. I tried to get my money back and all they could respond with was how the application fee was for the application. This basically means that they can receive hundred of dollars from submitted applications and then relieve their self of any obligation to make sure you are shown a property or be given a follow up.

I had the pleasure of going through my leasing process with Rita. She was very responsive and kind. Communication was very quick and I am able to move in to my unit asap. I’m very grateful for the professionalism and how fast they got me in. The unit I’m renting in Long Beach is in great condition and I’m hopeful I continue to have a good experience while living there. They provided me with resources in case I have any maintenance or other issues which I appreciate. Thanks Rita and Borba.

I am currently in the process of moving back to Southern California from the Central Coast. I have been employed as a barber for many years. These two things make it tricky to rent from long distance but thank God for Corinna at Borba Property Management Company. She listened patiently and professionally while I explained my situation and then addressed all of my concerns in a friendly, coherent manner. If all goes well I’ll be renting my next place from them but in the meantime I just wanted to leave a review here acknowledging her professional, friendly attitude and also acknowledge that a couple of little road bumps ( Barber and a long distance move ) did not automatically disqualify me from rental acceptance. If I could give her and Borba 6 stars I absolutely would!

Honestly, I didn't want to fall into the bad ratings and reviews. I chose to go with the positive view, well this turned into a nightmare quickly at only 6 days as a tenant. I do not recommend. Honestly now i think the positive reviews are bought/paid for.
