Renters AND landlords beware. Do not move into a property managed by evernest, you will regret it immediately. They will hustle you for fees and extra money wherever they can. Move in was a nightmare. Putting in 30 days notice was a nightmare. You will never have a reference person because all of the employees are outsourced to foreign call centers. You can not get ahold of them for anything.

Landlords, find a different company. There is high turnover for units managed by them because tenants are so unhappy. They will not get things fixed and your unit will not be taken care of by them.

The company is scummy and shady. They keep absorbing companies and changing their name to try and outrun the bad reputation they have.

This place is a joke . They do not look out for a landlords best interest. They will fill your rental with what ever tenant they find . No background checks . They offer rent guaranteed but when a tenant does not pay they won't pay the landlord . It's all just to get you to sign up . Stay clear of this rental co. They will bill you for services never performed I recently got a bill 3 years later for something that was never done. They also promised to cover eviction . That never happened in the end I lost 20k

I'm not one to leave reviews but Action Management is absolutely worth raving about and I thought you should know!
I had the best experience living at an apartment managed by AM. Honestly it was hard to leave but we needed a bigger space. From my first visit viewing the vacant apartment, Michael was so warm, friendly and thorough in answering all of my questions. The process to apply was smooth (and fast!) and our adorable space was perfectly ready for us upon move in. Throughout our year + living there management continued to take good care of us, repairs were done in record time and the entire complex was always kept so well. Our move out experience was no different, Michael even helped me move some things out of the apt. And after a few weeks living at our new place under new management I can tell you what a contrast it is, we miss our old place managed by Michael! They truly care about their residents and go the extra mile to ensure you are well taken care of.

Very bad, they need to stop this business, they can not handle it, it was just stupid, they were not able to rent home middle of the los angeles county for 4 months while the price was Lowes in area ! I learned they had no showing for weeks

Carol from the maintenance team is amazing!!! She assumed our case from a previous team member and worked tirelessly after our HVAC system went out and the landlord wasn’t interested in making repairs. Three months later (two of them with Carol ) the house feels much better!
Carol advocated and helped the landlord understand his obligation. She is very personable and professional and it is apparent that she cares…….if customer service was a person, it would be Carol!!
Poplar would benefit from more Carol’s!!

We've been living under action management for some years now and have nothing but the nicest things to say. Every issue that may come up, big or small, they respond to immediately. Michael, our property manager, makes sure the property is safe, upgraded whenever needed, and well-maintained. We've never had to wait long for maintenance when it has come up and everyone from Lucille to the staff in the office have always been very friendly and accommodating.

Action Management has managed my property for approximately 13 years. I have always received professional, prompt service. Rosa has diligently attended to the condition of my property while taking care of tenants' needs. After a water line burst, she made sure the situation was under control as soon as possible, had water service restored to the tenants as soon as possible, and coordinated the repair work. My experience with Action Management has been excellent.

I live at 9847 Foster Rd, Downey, CA. And for anyone trying Poplar Homes, I suggest you stay far away from these people. The worst customer service ever, the property I'm staying at is literally falling apart, and the management team in charge of taking care of the issue is a joke. They have zero care for the tenants. Multiple properties at this location are suffering and the only people looking for solutions are the actual tenants. Also that are not based out of the US, so good luck trying to talk to these people in person. Again the worst property management around is Poplar Homes.
