In 2024, as trustee of my father's trust, I was responsible for selling a huge beautiful house south of Carmel right on the coast worth 7 figures. I interviewed a half dozen or so of the realtors with good to excellent reputations for sales in that area. We recently purchased a second home in Monterey. The Tim Allen Properties team was first class all the way from introducing us to the various areas of the Monterey Peninsula, figuring out what was a good fit for us, and then taking us around to first class homes. We worked with Dave Reese day to day and he was outstanding. He made himself available to suit our needs, did not waste our time with places that were not a fit, and he had detailed knowledge of the area and the market. These last two things are key for a successful realtor. Dave helped us through the contracting and inspection process and is still helping after closing to connect us to vendors and tradesmen in the area.

My agent, Mark Lord, couldn't have been more helpful in the entire process. Most importantly, he was a terrific listener, and he knew what I was seeking in my search for a new home. HE was extremely efficient and didn't waste my time showing homes he knew I would never acquire. He also told me that his service didn't end at the closing, and he has followed through on that commitment. Good agents are invaluable; there are too many mediocre ones. Mark isn't one of them.
