We are members and eat at Summit Kitchen frequently. We try to participate in as many of the special events as we can to support the club, however, many times we leave disappointed. Last night we joined two other members for the Harvest Dinner. I honestly felt like it was a meal that would be served at an assisted living facility or nursing home. The salad was good, as well as the pumpkin soup, but the main meal and dessert left a lot to be desired! The main course was tepid in temperature and the schnitzel was dry. It seemed as if they made several dinners earlier in the day and then just warmed them up before serving. The dessert topping was burnt, the pastry was too chewy and so hard it could not be sliced with a fork.

Since we have joined the club two years ago, there have been three chefs. We were hopeful that the latest chef would be a nice addition, he made some changes to the menu and the quality of the food seemed to improve a bit. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has not been maintained and continues to diminish. We were also at the last prime rib dinner and the food was entirely too salty.

I am giving two stars instead of one because the staff are really nice and from their regular menu, the burger, cobb and Thai salads are consistently good. It has been really disappointing that a club of this stature struggles so much to maintain a restaurant with good quality food and an interesting menu. I know the standards are high, we are in wine country after all, with a lot of excellent restaurants but the members deserve better. I'm not sure what the answer is, but I really hope the management figures it out soon. When we first joined, the restaurant was always busy, but we have noticed over the last 6 months are so, the patronage has decreased significantly.

Absolutely delighted to review and highlight the exclusive experience playing golf and enjoying the clubhouse at this private golf club! The meticulously manicured course offers a perfect backdrop for luxurious living, with fantastic properties strategically placed along the lush fairways. A golfer's paradise seamlessly blended with exquisite real estate – a dream come true for those seeking both elegance and leisure.

Absolutely do not waste your well earned money at this club. The pricing is ridiculous. My husband and I were members and they kept jacking up the pricing multiple times a year until it got to $200 PER PERSON JUST for the fitness floor membership!!! Outrageous, and disgusting. Then they request that you spend more money at their restaurant and purchase things from the snack bar to increase their profits. If you don’t spend enough, they’ll charge you. When we left I gave them notice well before the end of the month but they are still trying to charge me for an entire additional month of fees. Terrible management. All they care about is $$$

The fitness floor is full of teenagers in sports bras who sit around on their phones and take up all the equipment. Small gym with not much space to work out.

If you’re actually into fitness and want a good workout with good equipment, I’d do what I did and join one of the better gyms in town where you can actually work out. Try Anytime Fitness, planter fitness or the Airport club if you want a pool.

Since I can’t respond to your reply I’ll add it here:
I actually did not have access to those amenities as not only did some of them not exist while I was a member but for the majority of my membership they were having work done on them. And I’d like to not that during this time of limited access (sometimes without access to a changing room even) your club decided to RAISE membership costs. AND there were many times that I attempted to communicate with the club regarding the services and my concerns and never once did I ever get a response.

Regarding the 30 day notice of cancellation, I attempt through multiple phone call and emails to cancel and again, surprise surprise, got zero response. And then once I did finally reach someone you decided to try to charge me for MORE THAN 30 DAYS beyond when you finally accepted my communications to terminate. Totally despicable.

Seriously, for those of you reading this review, consider their treatment of their members. Terrible. Don’t throw your money away here.

I’ve been in Santa Rosa for a few weeks now and have enjoyed every second I’ve spent at The Fountaingrove Club. The staff is world class and the playing conditions are the best in the North Bay Area. The views, too, are breathtaking. The club did lose their clubhouse in the fire, but is opening a semi-permanent space and will be breaking ground on a new clubhouse later this year. From tennis, aquatics, golf, yoga, spin... Whatever your goals, The Fountaingrove Club can help. Santa Rosa has something special here and I’m honored to be a part of it. #ExperienceTroon

Wow! This place is a breath of fresh air from our everyday, hectic lives. I recently had the opportunity to dine at the Club's new restaurant, The Sunset Grill and was blown away. The views are amazing, food is spectacular, and staff is friendly and professional. The members are extremely hospitable and make all guests feel welcome. I am happy to see the Fountaingrove community is still going strong and thriving!

I recently had the pleasure of playing The Fountaingrove Club, a private club located in Santa Rosa, California. They do have membership opportunities available, and I played with the cat you should talk to, Ricky Potts.

The condition of the fairways and greens are amazing and I am betting, that they are some of, if not the best in the area. The fact that it is a private course with fewer rounds played per day is a HUGE plus.

The greens were fast but fair and really I didn’t feel like any of the hole locations were wonky. Areas around the greens made for easy up and downs.

The dining facility behind 18 is huge and has these great chairs outside with a wonderful view of 9 and 18 as well as Fountaingrove Lake. A great place to chill after a round.

Even with my high score 102 I had a great time and if you get the chance to play there, do it.

Both before and after the fires, this club has maintained a stellar customer experience. The resolve that the Board and management sustained to keep this club in business and steadfast in its focus on its members is exactly why we re-joined when we moved back to town.
