Long story short, their systems and processes need work. I wouldn't trust my hard earned money going into any of their systems. They first reject my application, then I get a call that it was approved. I get help into the platform and I start my deposit. After all the time and effort, they cancel the transaction and remove my account without any notice. This was reported to the authorities. They wanted me to reapply to fix things after all of the problems, no thank you. One star for the customer support, but the actual business is a dud. Consumers beware.

The bank itself is not busy, clean and efficient. However the teller Tracee was very rude to my boyfriend and I. We had never deposited a check before or been in Poppy bank, and needed to be explained the process as our new landlord banks with poppy, (we have only ever banked and payed rent online). She seemed irritated and inconvenienced. We were the only customers in line, and when new people came through she made a remark regarding us taking up time and now there were other customers. Really bizarre interaction.

This currently is the #1 Bank in the US for interest on savings accounts. The current interest is 5.5% and is guaranteed for 3 months. I got in when it was guaranteed for 6 months and they are sticking behind that guarantee. Very easy to contact them online and always get a quick response. Submitted my daughter as a joint owner on my savings account and found out she had made a mistake completing her online form. Notified Poppy Bank of this and they CALLED HER. Never had that happen before, it's usually a notice for you to call them. The bank is not only FDIC insured but is completely stable and currently the ONLY bank in the US with a savings interest of 5.5%
