I love the management here! Very professional, welcoming, and always willing to go above and beyond for their tenants. Also Jaime the maintenance manager is also there when we need him. He is always fast to respond to open orders and is very friendly and always provides the best service!👍🏽

I moved into Sablewood in June and I have had a wonderful experience. I’ve had many apartments over the years and it seems like there are more negative reviews than positive which most of the time is not an accurate representation of the property. Many of these reviews come from an individual experience and you’re only hearing one side of the story that may or may not be accurate.

I can tell you from the beginning I’ve had nothing but a great experience and I highly recommend this property. Maria, Frankee and the entire staff have been so professional. They have responded to my questions and/or concerns timely.

The units are modern and spacious. Pricing is competitive with other units in the area. I like that security is a priority with the entry gate as well as cameras.

AT&T Fiber Gigabit internet is available which is a plus as well if you signup.

The fenced in dog area is spacious and there are cleanup bags. My Great Pyrenees Mix loves it.

Highly, highly recommend this property 🙂

I rented at Sablewood Gardens last summer and Hanna and the team were magnificent! They helped me learn things to do around the area to take my daughter, and when I unfortunately had to move out, they were more than helpful. I can honestly say it was an absolute pleasure staying there, knowing them and working with them. They were very helpful in every aspect. I wish more people had their integrity and kindness.

I hope Maria Mondragon, the manager of Sablewood Gardens, will not be transferred. Very accommodating, friendly, kind, always smiling, easy to talk to, she explains everything to the best of her ability, if I rate her 10 out of 10, she is good at communicating with people. man, see you around Maria💯👍

I first fell in love with the kitchen in my 2BR Sablewood Gardens apartment. The cabinetry is beautiful, and there is so much space! Coming from a small 1BR in So Cal, this apartment was heavenly! David and the rest of the maintenance staff are the best ever! They're very timely & communicative w/maintenance requests. It's a quiet, clean neighborhood and a great place for pets. I absolutely LOVE my balcony and the fact that I can decorate it with plants, lights, and seating. I've had many early-morning cups of coffee out there (my happy place). My neighbors are friendly, but I'd like to see more community engagement. Overall, Sablewood has been a great home for us, and I recommend it highly!

Sablewood Gardens was one of the first places I was considering when moving out to Bakersfield. Once I expressed my interest via their website, I was connected to their representative, Hannah. Hannah was extremely helpful throughout our decision process, we even went on a zoom call to tour the facility, and we didn’t have to pay an application fee for that experience (I’ve had some places require that). She was really helpful even afterwards, responding to any questions I had. Unfortunately there were no dates that were near the move in date I desired, so we ended up choosing another apartment that wasn’t Sablewood. BUT I’m writing this review specifically for Hannah, because of how wonderful she was with communicating and willing to accommodate for my current situation! Thank you, Hannah!

My apartment is great. Put in a work order request and it was done in a day. Management team is always helpful and professional and will get back to you in a timely manner even when I know they must be crazy busy in there. Maintenance is always on it!
Lexie the assistant manager moved me in and I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. She definitely made the whole process from the application to the move in day very pleasant and a breeze. Thanks Lexie!!!
But yeah it’s honestly very homey inside the apartments and complex and location is also a major plus! Super happy

My partner and I reached out to Sablewood at the beginning of our search in Bakersfield and Hannah was so kind and communication was great! She was able to answer all our questions, kept us updated on new openings, and gave us a great tour of a unit and the property over zoom when we weren’t able to show in person.
