Floyd has been a Godsend to our family. We reached out to Floyd when my mother began considering selling her preschool. The preschool was built by my dad in 2001. My dad passed away 3 years ago and the thought of selling something that he had built from the ground up, came with many emotions.

Floyd put together a beautiful, detailed sales packet for us. There was absolutely no pressure to get the process started as we were just still ambivalent about relinquishing something that was so near and dear to our hearts. When we finally took a leap of faith, Floyd paved the way as we had no idea how to navigate this journey. Floyd assured us that he would handle everything.....and he did. He worked feverishly, often checking in with us during his personal time, to make sure that we were “doing okay.”

The posting of the sale brought many interested people. Floyd advised us of how we should respond to the offers that were being made. He knew that our hearts desire was to find a buyer that would keep the business as a preschool and retain our team of staff in their current positions. Although we knew that this request was not likely to happen, Floyd held out hope and believed that if we were patient, the right buyer would come along.

Our family expected that the property would be on the market for some time. We were shocked when Floyd called, a very short time later, to inform us that he had located buyers who were willing to pay the listed price IF they could keep the business as is, including all employees.

We just closed escrow, and could not be happier with the outcome.

Floyd was professional, trustworthy, and kept us apprised of every single procedure and action. He was thorough and patient. He made certain that we, as his clients, were taken care of, often interceding on our behalf when we were faced with situations that come with these types of transactions. His calm demeanor kept us grounded during those times when our anxiety was at its peak. More importantly, Floyd never lost sight of our emotional attachment to the business and the hands who built it. His empathy for us and the respect that he showed my father's memory was something that deeply touched my family. I cannot thank him enough for this.

On behalf of my siblings and I, we thank you for walking alongside of our mom and keeping her best interest at the forefront of every decision. We are eternally grateful.
