I asked the owner of Rancho Coastal Engineering to give me a cost estimate for a drainage plan (PDP Drainage Plan). The first day, he told me it would cost around $15K for a Straightforward PDP SWQMP with one Bio Basin, and said he needs to shoot in the existing topo of the site, which would be another $3K. The second day, he told me that it cost additional $3K for a New Topo Survey, so his total cost estimate would be around $21K. Then on the third day, he told me the cost would be from $25K to $30K range…because they are busy, and they will not do fixed-fees. Rancho Coastal Engineering is not credible, and I would NOT pay a penny for this company to do the work for my property.

Used them to do a lot split unfortunately they did not perform as expected. I found the owner of the business to be dishonest did not remember what he had advised me. In the end it cost me thousands of dollars and a year to fix his mistakes. Had to find a new engineer.
