I have two small children, so I was worried about having our house on the market for too long. Between keeping the house spotless and toy-free with two kids under three was not something I was excited about. We took the kids out of town for 7 days when we first put the house on the market and Melinda and Marc said they'd have the house sold by the time we got back... AND THEY DID! We are so grateful to have a low-stress, quick and easy transaction.

Always available and always responsive. We were interested in finding a house in a specific location two years ago. These guys stuck with my family until we found the home we love. Sure, the house needed some TLC. Boy, lots of TLC along with plumbing, a roof, windows, toilets, retaining wall and the list goes on. Melinda not only found us our home, but made it possible with her referrals for all the repairs. We are not house flippers and have no idea how to get all this stuff done. All I know is that we love the house and Melinda made it possible.

To buy this home we had to sell our Condo and sell it FAST. It needed work. In a matter of a couple of weeks, Freedom First had the condo repaired. It needed extensive plumbing work, floors, painting and more. It was listed and in 48 hours we got full cash offers at the top of the pricing for similar listings. We sold the house in two days, all cash and 10k over asking.

At most, I have posted a couple of reviews on Google. I am just not into it. I don't think I even read google reviews. This is just my way of saying Thank you to Freedom First.

I just sold my home in March 2014 - Melinda Johnson and the entire Freedom First Properties team were the perfect fit for me! Buying/selling a home is such an emotional roller coaster but working with the right people helped me make smart decisions during the entire process. For me, it started with a realistic assessment of the market and the value of my home. With an in-house appraiser on the Freedom First Properties staff, this is where I believe they exceled. We talked in detail about my goals and objectives, the appraiser visited my home and did his research to determine the estimated value, and only then was I provided with several pricing strategies and options. They help you to step away from your "emotional" attachments to the home and focus on what is really possible based on the market data.

They were right on the money (literally) with their assessment and as a result my home received multiple offers after only nine days on the market.

Once the agreement was signed with the buyers, this is really where Melinda Johnson and her staff did an exceptional job. We had several challenges during the process and Melinda stayed in control of the situation and always looked out for my best interest. The Freedom First Properties appraiser even met with the lender's appraiser at my home to make sure the house was properly assessed.

I found Melinda's skills from her previous work experience as a lawyer who worked on deal structures with Boeing Capital to be extremely helpful. She knows how to negotiate and get the deal done no matter what issues crop up during the sales process, while always maintaining strict moral and ethical standards. She's a true professional and now, a friend.

In the end, my home sold after a 30 day escrow and I am very happy with the sales price. Not only would I recommend Melinda and Freedom First Properties to anyone, I will definitely be using them again when I have another real estate transaction.
