I live in Golden Oaks was happy until the ice storm, I have complained about my tree and they will not listen, then finally on second round of assesseing all the trees, mine was tagged yay! Oh wait now they are coming out again on May 16 ugh no show, now May 21 still no show to assess the trees again! On May 14. 2024 I had exterminator come to help get rid of ants that had come from the tree behind my home so sad! I went to the manager again with proof the ant nest is in tree and she basically shut the door in my face and gave me a piece paper about there own exterminator very rude!! so Ihave in writing what the exterminator said geez I was not asking her to pay it! tired of attitude! To top the manager lying and IPG not taking care of the trees. They will not fix our pool, this is so very wrong us senior pay rent for these amenities they said we have and nothing in golden oaks is fixed sad sad!

AC goes on and off so you only need to change the temperature, blood and maggots from some carcass that would have been placed in the backyard, roaches on the carpet and walls. If you want to live in a haunted apartment complex. Then you're in luck!

They could be a lot better at maintenance. I'm not sure why it's so hard to get anything fixed, there's a bunch of maintenance men. It's also one of the last decently priced complexes in Carson (if you're not on HUD). Don't want to say too much because I don't want to get an eviction put on my door lol. You get what you pay for? ? Over all, it's not bad here.

This corporation is horrible. They're causing elderly people to live in poverty. The insane rent increases for lot rent in their McNary Oaks 55+ park is immoral. Telling 80 year old people on fixed income to move if they don't like the rent increases, is just pure evil. They don't enforce the rules. Kids live with their grandparents and parents. One of them runs a car detailing business from the park. They send threatening letters about yard and grass upkeep, but don't enforce it. DO NOT rent from this corporation!!!

Dealt with this company at one of the washington properties. I was denied housing because of a 10 year old conviction. I have a credit score of 774 a great job, great rental history, never even missed a car payment. I'm in contact with a lawyer to file a litigation for discrimination. Stay away from this company.

Nice place when I moved in! Lots of police on property no security and their cameras never see the important things when police ask, very slow to fix anything maintenance or even what’s wrong when you move in! Price is good and pools are ok in summertime. You get what you pay for and management can be very rude and abrasive except Amanda who is the manager. The assistant manager and lost desk clerk make more problems than solutions and be careful at night and on weekends! Have a deputy i sheriffs # on file especially by the O building and avoid resident who have been “grandfathered” in the lease multiple felons and gunshots on property at all times despite the police warning don’t open your door or be alone at night in the area. Inside of my apartment is gorgeous and I keep it clean but the storms and other neighbors make it very exceptionally difficult. I have wanted to move since august but can’t find anything else in my price range or income qualifies.

WARNING: Stay away from Adriana. Do not get a lease on this property, they are very discriminatory and have lack of compassion!

My girlfriend has been living under the Summercrest apartments for multiple years now. She has been forcefully removed out of the apartment lease when she went for college because of reasons stating that "she already has her name under another lease", which was the college apartments she was staying at. First of all, it is completely legal to own multiple apartment leases under your name; there was no reason as to why she couldn't have her name on the lease just because she goes to college and has an apartment near there. Now that she graduated and wants to move back, they are denying her request for reasons that doesn't make sense.

First of all, the Summercrest Apartment is her PERMANENT address, since that is where her parents live. The college apartment she had a lease on was a TEMPORARY address, since she was only there throughout her time in college, and will eventually move back to her parents' apartment. There was no need for her name to be removed. Their reasoning was you can't have your name under multiple leases, but that is legally not true. You can!

Second, why aren't they letting her back in the lease? The notice stated that she used the Summercrest apartment lease at the DMV even though her name wasn't on the lease, but there is no reason for her for going through the trouble of changing the address and whatnot in the DMV if she is going to move back down after college anyway?

Third, her dad is disabled, and her mom is the caretaker. They absolutely have no compassion and understanding towards her situation, claiming that she couldn't park at her designated spot (they were given one parking spot), and with her reasoning that she helps them get groceries and run errands as a daughter, they did not care.

There are a lot of instances that they've neglected to care, even so far as to say towards a certain race. They are racist.

We are about to use legal terms to get this right. We are not afraid to do so. In the meantime, do NOT go to Summercrest, or perhaps any property this group owns.
